If Seungho was just an arrogant prick and not a rapist, we might be able to forgive him if he atoned for his sins. But he forced himself on Nakyum repeatedly and rape is just unforgivable. That’s why no matter what Seungho’s backstory is, a lot of us really can’t forgive him. Even if he started treating Nakyum like a KING from now on, there are things that just cannot be forgiven. I just wish Seungho weren’t so devilishly handsome - that would’ve made it easier to hate him. I hate him but mostly I hate how weak my heart is against handsome webtoon characters.

I think character development and maybe backstory would be great but does that justify anything he’s done? Still a nope in my opinion...a murderer and a rapist is still a murder and a rapist regardless of any amount of trauma and abuse they may have experienced..

I don’t wanna fight but I wasn’t “coming at anyone” in this particular comment. I just expressed how I feel about Seungho’s character and am speaking for the lot of us who can’t forgive Seungho. I mean if y’all can forgive rape then that’s up to you. But there are many of us who really can’t. And just like how people who are shipping SeunghoxNakyum are free to comment and express their opinion here, the people who don’t approve of their relationship or don’t like certain characters should be free to do the same too.
Thank you dear for respecting our opinion. And it’s not like I didn’t feel butterflies when I saw Seungho using his robe to keep Nakyum warm or when he nodded to confirm his feelings - the people who don’t like Seungho get soft too yaknow but at the end of the day, we just can’t forgive him. But we’ll still keep reading to see what happens to the characters.

It’s such a pleasure to see this selfish prick down on his knees for a lowly servant. Every time I see him conflicted over his feelings for Nakyum, I’m like hell yeah you got what you deserve, asshole! Let’s not pretend that Seungho isn’t a piece of shit, we all know how violent he is, how badly he treats all his servants, and he definitely raped Nakyum a couple times. I think his falling for Nakyum is just the start of his karma but I don’t want Nakyum to take advantage of this. I want Nakyum to have a clean conscience so that he can have a happy ending (altho his promise with InHyun is a little hmm...) Leave the revenge to all the other people Seungho hurt please.
I love how Minato’s friends were just living their best lives!! I kinda hope there will be a spin-off for their own story. Anyhoo, this was such a heart-warming read. And I love how the author acknowledged that LGBT people exist bc Japan is known for “ignoring” LGBT, pretending they don’t exist, and refusing to use any proper LGBT terminology. I’m still disturbed by the fact that uke-kun got to the point where he was undressing his younger brother. I mean, he must have had a plan, right? He wasn’t actually gonna go thru with it, right? Seme-kun just came at the right time before uke-kun could act on his plan, right? Imma just believe that so I can sleep tonight. And I’m sorry (no not really) but some people were commenting about how they looked forward to the child rape. You should know that fetishizing child rape is DISGUSTING. Yuki was a kid and even if he wanted his adult brother to do him, it will ALWAYS BE CONSIDERED RAPE BC MINORS CANNOT GIVE CONSENT PERIOD.
I just feel like he’s such a complicated character and I just wish the author gave us more details about his story, about his involvement with drugs and why he wouldn’t take Haru with him when he planned to leave with Sora. I want to know what was on his mind all those years. But anyway, I’m happy that Haru found happiness with someone.

But damn there’s so much I want to say. The more I read, the more I can see that Mafu and Yuki really were “soulmates.” That’s how the author made them out to be. I think a part of Mafu’s heart will undeniably always belong to Yuki but that DOESN’T MEAN his love for Uenoyama ISN’T TRUE or ANY LESSER than his love for Yuki. I think Mafu will never forget Yuki, bc after all Yuki was his ride or die, but even with that hole in his heart, Mafu CAN find happiness someday too - whether it be thru his music or with our incredibly compassionate Ue. Honestly, I just want to steal Uenoyama away so bad right now. I can’t believe he’s completing a “love letter” dedicated to his boyfriend that was written by his lover’s ex-boyfriend. Man, if I had a boyfriend like Ue I’d never let him go and my heart breaks so much for him every time he’s hit with the reality that Mafuyu is clearly still not over Yuki. I know it’s possible to love 2 people at the same time but it keeps hurting Ue and I wish I could take him away to a place where he can forget all the pain lmao I’m in love with this fictional character.
