Something about the reality Korean webtoons when it comes to rape victims is that its all so frustrating. Like, the poor dude who killed himself after getting gang raped only ever got a “ oh that’s unfortunate “ reaction from the “ good “ characters and then the blonde just never gave a fuck at all. I understand they all have their own baggage but... man every character aside from the MC really fucked up. And I know it’s just a comic but this trope with rape in webtoons gets annoying and depressing.
Yep, I know right. I find the dynamic of MCs entertaining and the art is beautiful but little things like this frustrat me.
Korea is still very conservative and it shows in their fiction. Hell, the whole south Asia has generally speaking stuck up mindset regarding social issues like rape, abortion, social hierarchy etc. etc. I struggle to think of not screwed up korean comics. May I suggest Momentum, Wolf in the house (same author) and Roommates (a comedy)? They're more nuanced I guess.

Could be completely wrong, just thought it’d be weird to toss the MC’s V card to a random dude who appears abruptly when the blonde and the MC were the main focus of the entire chapter. That and the acting stuff also pushes this theory.
