I’m fine with the lack of sex and stuff, their relationship is so sweet and they care about each other. I wish we would have had one more chapter to see them as an official couple though, like a date. Either way, I’m happy Hinata finally got Aki :)

I hope that woman can get her daughter Lia back, what she did was wrong, but I can understand her desperation as a mother to get her daughter back. They kidnapped her and used her for leverage, I expect nothing less from such evil, remorseless people. I hope they didn’t do anything to that baby :(

He’s got that feeling you get when you see something small or squishy and feel the inexplicable urge to squeeze it really hard or crush it, like when you want to squeeze a puppy in a hug or something. He’s confused but trying his best :)

I need all their stories separately! I want to know about Uncle and Tarou, and Aniki and whatever he’s up to! They’re all so interesting and deserve their own spotlights.

Damn someone must’ve snitched on them now the parents are involved honestly though as cute as this couple is and as much as I appreciate her honesty and him trying to be responsible I wish their age gap was at least a little smaller. Her being 17 and the age gap being 12 years makes me feel a little cautious, but they are such a wholesome couple aside from that!

Not to be dramatic or anything, but I would die for #15

This is one of the few isekai I’ve read where the protagonist has any sense of self-preservation. She took the reigns and cut off the people who could hurt her or take advantage of her. Like the maids she fired, she couldn’t be 100% sure they didn’t have anything to do with the plots against her so she had them fired, which was kind within itself. If she had told her husband their punishments would have been worse. But Mrs. Collins was not a puppet, she was the mastermind behind it all and she was not going to stop. What she plotted was a serious attempt on the Duchess’ life and the only reason nothing bad happened is because she was lucky enough to run into the knights. Not only the Duchess, but she put the lives of two maids in danger. Listen, I’m truly honestly happy to see so many of you have such kind forgiving personalities. It’s great. But I gotta be honest, if someone spent the majority of my life bullying me and escalating to making attempts of my life/plotting serious bodily injury against me I can’t say I would care too much what happens to them after they are finally caught. That’s why the punishment didn’t bother me. Not to mention this isn’t something about “class” being perpetuated. This is modeled (as she mentioned) after European styles/England. Queen Elizabeth I had Queen Mary of Scots killed for shit like this. You are arguing about the morality of the death penalty in a fantasy manhwa that has a setting similar of Elizabethan England. Being from the 21st century has nothing to do with that, and people even know have different values and opinions on punishments for crimes of all nature. Just because this protagonist didn’t beg for the life of an abusive maid to be spared doesn’t mean she’s a shitty or selfish character, she’s cutting off loose ends in a fantasy world where people like that always come back for revenge (a common plot elements in so many of these stories). Well you can’t come back for revenge when you’re dead.

but that’s just my opinion :)

I do feel bad for Chanwoo. Chanwoo is a victim of abuse, and even though this story arc is about him and MD we know NOTHING about either of them or their pasts, which is why I’m trying not to judge either of them harshly yet. We have no idea what Chanwoo has experienced that makes him stay in abusive relationships. He mentioned a few times that his type is younger guys, which would explain why he doesn’t believe he likes MD. I wonder if his “type” has anything to do with his past or maybe the result of a first love or something. Anyway, Chanwoo and MD had a deal. The same way you guys say Chanwoo deserves this because MD is giving him the option to leave. MD and Chanwoo both agreed at first to keep their romantic lives and work separate. MD said Chanwoo could have boyfriends outside of their relationship because their agreement was for work/professional. Chanwoo also says he isn’t very trusting, yet falls in love way too quickly, what made him like this? There are just too many questions surrounding these characters and I can’t say I don’t feel bad for him until I hear those answers. Think about it, Chanwoo recognized Alex’s terrible behavior in the main story and was pretty against them getting back together because he didn’t want his friend to get hurt. Yet Chanwoo himself often gets into abusive relationships and stays longer than he should, why? Not to mention, as much as I respected MD in the last few chapters for safe wording out, it seems like he’s using BDSM as revenge here again. He’s entitled to getting a new sub, but doing it in this manner probably isn’t very healthy. I just want some background

Also about Chanwoo safewording, I’m not sure I can trust a man who has a history of staying in abusive relationships to safe word in this situation if he really needs to which worries me :(

Thank you for being considerate to both of the characters and not judging too soon.

Everyone is so quick to shit on the other character. I’ll admit I lean more toward Chanwoo’s side but I understand they’re both hurt. A BDSM scene isn’t what they need right now and it’s probably not the healthiest or safest thing to do in this situation.

Potter Joon obviously doesn’t want to talk to Wonyoung. He’s tried multiple times now to explain himself and have a discussion with him, but he doesn’t want to hear it. He’s definitely entitled to that, but that’s why Wonyoung is offering up sex instead of another “talk” where he tries to speak and Potter Joon just leaves. Potter Joon thinks Wonyoung faked their relationship once he found out he was gay, so he believes he acted the whole time. We know this isn’t true, and Wonuoung is running out of options on what to do, he’s at a loss because Potter Joon won’t even talk to him. So, it’s not the best idea to prove his feelings with sex, but it’s the only thing he can do right now.

yea. he could also let some time pass by - let the potter think, ya know?
