the more flashbacks and insight into seth’s inner thoughts we get, the more complex his character seems. well, complex but simple. seth is really a good person, in an empathetic way. he’s a good father, no one can doubt that, it’s almost the whole reason we’re in this mess. and he doesn’t hate horus, and he goes very easy on him. he won’t answer the reason for that, but we can tell what it is. he doesn’t actually want to kill him or hurt him, because horus hasn’t hurt him either. (him being possessed by sekhmet doesn’t count, and i think seth sees it that way too). seth was really only out to hurt osiris and isis, and he killed a whole bunch of humans because they looked like her. of course, that’s extremely messed up and unforgivable, but when you put the pieces together you start to see that most of what he does is to get back at people who have hurt him. it’s all so messed up but i love how much depth and layers all the characters in this story have. they don’t all fit into one category of good or evil and i love it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

dojin’s character design has changed so much since the beginning of the story. like i know it’s been like three years over the course of the story or so, given how old byul is. but hot damn, it looks like dojin got 10 years older. when i look back on it now, his character in the beginning was definitely not as buff or big in general. he’s huge now (⊙…⊙ )
but i’m glad that in that moment nephthys took responsibility in her role in all this. she hasn’t been in the spotlight much because she’s locked away so when we talk about who has the fault in this situation we always leave her out and point to set, isis, and osiris, and while they’re to blame as well she pretty much hit the nail on the head.
her and osiris were the catalysts to all of this. obviously set is now a villain in his own right, with everything he did after, but just glad we haven’t forgotten about what she did to start this.
