Oh no yeah, that was completely fucked up. The scar itself was problematic enough for them to never date, now if he’s gonna trigger his trauma (that’s what it looks like) and rape him then I’m out. Yeah, 95% of the Yaoi has either dubcon or straight up SA. The most popular stories are the most abusive ones, it’s just a romanticized Stockholm Syndrome. Most of the fandom fetishizes it, which is beyond disgusting, I hate those people with a burning passion. I got burnt so many times that now whenever I consider reading BL I first ask like 10 random people if it’s safe. Even some of my favorite and most safe and healthy stories just randomly got random SA put in so I had to drop them. It’s beyond infuriating. I would be fine with SA as a past trauma if it’s not by the ML though, I like angst and dark themes, I just don’t like romanticized and fetishized abuse

True to that because I was really really into one last year It got on hiatus for a while first chapter after return the family kidnaped and hired people to SA the omega just became they didn't like the alpha he liked and I was kind of hoping the alpha would safe him so I tried reading the next chapter but it was like the alpha was to latest had already happened he took him back and had sex with to "erase" the memories and then it was like it never freaking happened AND THE PLOT WAS SO GOOD

Exactly I was reading one about a child that could read the status windows (I kind of stop for some reason) but in the last chapters I read not only she told her father what happened in her las life, he believed her and even apologized but also we learn that her father was the one who send her back in time and the one that put like a spell on her so she could behave like a child so she could have a happy childhood like I never read a back in time history as good as that one in this sense
Every time is mostly like we'll the past is gone so whatever

Not really so basically she is the daughter of a consort her father the emperor loved her and her mom, the empress hated both of then she only married the emperor because at the time he need the support of her family but they relationship was so bad that even the Crown Prince was created by magic (I don't know how); but after her mom died the empress is responsible for raising her and say stuff like you father hate you and is very powerful so he can get rid of you for the main character when she is a toddler, so she is scared of her father, but the emperor loves her very much he is just very bad at expressing it especially since she is scared of him he thinks she hates him and tries to protect her from afar, later on the empress plant fake evidence that the MC is trying to kill the Crown Prince and the emperor can't prove is a lie so he does a forbidden magic to turn back.
Main character becomes a toddler again with the ability of seen a status window, but her body is not fully synchronized with her age so she still acts like a kid, she finds out the empress hate her, her father and brother love her and she later on finds out a later of her former father apologizing for not being able to protect her and wishing she would live a happy childhood through magic she tells the her father from this time lime everything when she becomes a teen and in this time line even without memories and even though she did lived happily he apologized again and they started working together to prevent bad stuff from happening in this time line

Kid was born in US and her mom was an american iirc. Her mom gave up her parental rights and Ho took kid back to korea to raise her. Its all legally dealt with I think as he would not be able to take kid away from her mom if she hadn't given up her rights. She can't do anything now that Ho is SK already.
There was a real life story I heard of a couple where the dad was american and the mom was korean. They were married and one day the wife took the kids back to korea saying its for vacation but she cut contact with her husband and refused to return or let him have the kids. The dad sued her in US court for custody and was granted it but the korean police won't hold up their verdict so he had to go to korea and sue her all over again to have the court uphold the US court's decision. But it was taking too much time, he had to quit his job and stay there for the time being burning through his savings. That was the last I heard of it idk how its going now.

That’s why I said idk if she will try to take her away, but even if she signed her parental rights away it’s still very possible she could change her mind and want to try to build a relationship with her. I also doubt Ho would forbid his daughter a chance to have a mother (unless the kid doesn’t want it or she’s abusive) if it was just about having a relationship

I’m not talking here legal custody but it’s very common for parents to sign their rights off and abandon their kids and later on change their minds and try to be a part of their lives some way. I’m not talking here legally, but emotionally
