I'm all for redemption arcs, but this father would need several arcs to cover his shittyness, and even that might not probably help. And his reaction when Bridey was telling him what her mom went thru???? His entire demeanor was like, "lol ok I'm sorry that happened but anyways, I wonder if I have any use for you?" And judging by what the novel readers have said, he's a shit person through and through.

Anways, I'm happy for once that there's no second lead syndrome vibes. Kid with silver or purple hair or whatever color that was doesn't even compare half of Amon.

Also, I love that part where Lart the brat tried to arrow her down so Amon retaliated. Bridey was like "hurt him where it's not visible" HAHAHAHA didn't expect that

I'm really simping for Hal so much ugh this is gonna be one painful second lead syndrome again. He's just so charismatic, charming, kind, funny, caring, sweet, & you can really feel you can rely on him. He's surprisingly bashful as well. And the fact he sacrificed his life for the Rustichel family on the 1st timeline? This is too much heartbreak, cause we all know he will never be the choice judging by the cover. I feel for Julian too （/TДT)/

IMO for stories like these, you have to possess a strong fourth wall, you have to clearly recognize the characters' behaviors are many kinds of fucked up, you don't condone nor justify their behavior, and it is clear to you that they're fictional 2D characters in a fictional world.

That said, I see no problem if you enjoy stories like these like I did. Because it's different, interesting, unpredictable & very unorthodox unlike our usual moral-driven stories.

Again tho, 4th wall. Don't go looking or settling for somewhat similar relationships like these in real life. If someone is clearly stalking you, run for the hills and ask for help. And don't eat food you found on your doorstep. It might be your neighbor's ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

We already know Seunghoe is a piece of crap, is it really needed to elaborate this characteristic? We're going circles with the plot, and whatever little character development he exhibited was yeeted out the window to show what exactly? That he needs therapy? That he's the basic abusive hunk who hurts the ppl they supposedly like? That he needs therapy(2)? I think we all agree the story is toxic, but man I think it's aiming for the toxic male lead award or something.

Yung kung ano ano na lang ang kwento kahit paikot ikot na basta mapahaba lang. Tanggap na nga namin na toxic talaga 'tong story, kaso ginalingan naman masyado. Aasa pa ba akong happy ending 'to kung chapter 65 na pero si Seunghoe shunga pa rin? Wala man lang character development e ang haba haba na? Kantutan na lang lagi, ganern?

It was said this webtoon's plot was altered (from the novel) so it would be more father-daughter centered because novel is more on AthyxLucas or Athy & others lol. Buuuuuttt it's not doing that either since this amnesia arc is incredibly longgggg and the only interactions Athy & Claude seem to be having lately is when Claude is in coma (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Ahh it's a good thing to recall one of the novel incidents where Claude made a noble burst to smithereens because they dared to insult Athy

What I like about this story is it has shounen ai vibes, which is about the pining & the slow burn. It's cute & the progress of how the couples get together & fall in love is so lovely to witness. What's greater is that this is yaoi so it will have sexy times lmao so the wait will be more worth it. Most yaoi deadass start with sex, like literally chapter 1. While I'm not complaining with some smexy times, it does get boring if the story is long but it's just 70% sex
