I love love the respect they have for each other. God damn, yaoi is a trash heap of terrible relationships but this manwha actually has a healthy relationship! Thank you River and Heil. Also, Heil looks incredible with this hair. I'm so excited for the other characters especially the fire god Ahhhh!
Okay, I am here for this. The MC seems really sweet and Geun Woo actually seems like he's going to be a good person.
I love this manwha and I'm pretty sure it's going to be Heil and River at the end. The biggest pointin their favour is Kaveri. Khaol is devoted to him and seeing River relegated to second was heartbreaking to see. There's no way they'll end up together. I think for the 3rd season will focus on the plot with Lari and my totally baseless prediction is that Khaol will sacrifice himself and him and Kaveri will pass on together.
The preview for the 2nd season has destroyed me. I really thought the last chapter of Season 1 was the end end for the story and was so happy that Shin and Wolfgang got a hapy ending. The angst with the drug use and Shin being a self sacrificing idiot is going to kill me slowly and painfully. I think the best thing to do for my mental well being is to consider the story over and just ignore S2 and maybe I'll come back a year later in a better place to read soul crushing angst.
Can we talk about Kuroiwa's eyebrows cause my god they are works of art. Love where the story is heading and can't wait for more.
Finally! I stopped reading for a while after the move to the second couple and I have to say that I hate them. Glad that the story has come back to Shin and Wolfgang. I love the dynamics between Shin and Wolfgang. Ahhhhhh and that kiss, shoot me. I've read in the comments that there is much angst up ahead and I'm not sure my heart can take it. Also heard that there is an 18+ version coming out, can someone confirm or deny it??
Okay, I'm actually personally offended that this Manga is below 9 stars, it is criminally underated. Ahhhhh. This was so good that I can't form coherent thoughts. Everything from the gorgeous art, the layered characters and the plot was just *chef's kiss.*
The two mcs are the bread to the pb and j of the episodic characters that appear in each new chapter and it is perfectly baked bread and the very best of pb and j. Each story is well developed and all the characters are given actual "character." The angst is also A++++ and the resolution of the stories are often bittersweet or just bitter but resolve the plot masterfully.
This is an amazing manga even beyond it's genre and I hope the author continues with it but I'll be okay to just have this much.
Short and sweet. The buildup to the relationship was a bit rushed in my opinion but chapter 5 and 6 really made up for it. Like other commenters have been saying, Shouta waking up early and sleeping late for Aoi was heart achingly sweet. Felt like the trauma from Aoi's past had actual repercussions and though the manga does not go too into it, the parts that are shown are completely believable. The last chapter with the dad was also very well done. Also Shouta's goofy ass smile is probably the best drawn smile in any manga I've read.
PS; the first few pages of the the first 3 chapters are exquisitely drawn and I stared at Scheherazade from the 3rd Chapter for an embarassingly long time.
Oh my god, this was unbearably good. I can't believe I've never seen this recommended before because it's one of the very best I've read. The characters are good people and their backstories are very well developed. Really excited to see where the story goes, I have a feeling it will subvert my expectations of the usual tropes or execute them really well.
Blown away by this one. Very strong characters and a really good take on the prostitute trope. I genuinely love Dandy and his confidence. The art is also fantastic. Hope it gets picked up soon.
