This is amazing in a way that made me contemplative of life, youth and queerness. It was a shot through my brain. It’s truly unique and wonderful. Realistic where it matters and has an excellent portrayal of queer people. The setting is modern Tokyo and social media plays a huge part in it but it felt magical. I was transported by art, the dialogue, the characters. It’s only 3ch long but there’s so much heart in it, filled me right to the brim and overflowed. 10/10
Wow, I cried like 3 times or more reading this. There’s something so special about this work. The setting, the art, the dialogue it slayed me on a Monday. it felt freeing. Mired in youth and life has felt hopeless and sometimes so incandescently hopeful, with a foot on the skateboard and yellow nail polish. All these feeling that you can’t put into words but describe around it.
The MCs parents hurt me where the heart is. Them telling him to enjoy his youth, his parents getting their nails painted. The scarf!! I only caught on it was rainbow coloured when he describes it as such. I think I cried twice in succession.
The effortless reality of his and the MLs queerness. His wonderfully forgiving ex gf. I can’t deal with it. It makes me feel… I’m not even a social media but I loved how it is used here. The fundamental themes of loneliness in a digital age and wanting to find connections.
The final lines where the MC is talking about how agonizing it is as a child waiting for something and as an adult, time passing in a blink and his anticipation for meeting the ML again to show how even though it’s a short wait, his anticipation made him aware of the passage of time. So effectively written and conveyed.
is the world I want to live in the world of this manga. As a customer in MCs in Nail salon, as a follower of ML on insta and to be besties with the other clients, to be adopted by his parents.
This was sooo rushed. What a shame. It was amazingly done. So much info packed into the 3rd volume I was left absolutely reeling. Still I appreciate the art and work that went into this.

Loved it so much!! The art is so good and really memorable. The relationship was perfect, slow burn but not infuriatingly so. The MC and ML were both very well characterized and felt distinct in the world of BL. Shocked by how brilliant this is and how seemingly unknown it is. It’s near perfect. 9/10

BL is full of the same tropes a thousand times over, red flag Seme, chaebol, yankee, yakuza, stalker, ABO, guide, etc. including isekai. I mean, I’ve legit read like 10+ guideverse and they all sort of blur together but I don’t know what it is about this story that really screams Plagiarism.
1. The ML is so similar to Aras,

4. Being weak to mana and having to stay with the ML to stabilize

The biggest point of difference is the beast man and the medicine storyline. It’s like putting lipstick on a dog, it’s still a fucking dog

This is giving baroque. The panels are so dramatic. Really memorable art style. Hope the story lives up to it. Going to marinate it for some time
Body, soul, cells, atoms ready for this to come back. One of my favorite stories ever.
Have real problems with the pacing. I wish the story didn’t feel like a race. Like it had no room to breathe at all, it’s one crisis after the next. Saying that, the characters are very well done and the relationships are shockingly good for how break neck the story is going.
Particularly love the trio. Definitely playing into fujoshi baiting but I’m falling hook line and sinker.
Excited for season 2 and I sincerely hope this story has time to just mellow a little before hurtling into the next fight,
I think I’ve been marinating this for like 3+ years now. But I only have the fondest memories of it. Closing the vault again and hope it’ll be complete some time this decade
This is my favorite BWAT work and it’s not much of a competition. Always thought it had the most interesting characters and the best chemistry between the leads. The story also felt the most intentional, a completely told plot line and romance that never felt rushed or unnecessarily over wrought.
The obsession this BL incites in me. I legitimately have not read past chapter 18 because I was becoming worryingly obsessed. Hoping to marinate it until the story is complete…
The art went from a 5/10 to -2/10z hate to see it and hope the artists get time off to rest.
Back when this had 30 chapters, I read somewhere that this was cancelled so I totally dropped it but I’m so happy that it’s up to 60 chapters. Excited to catch up.
