this story has been lowkey boring, mainly bc the main couple hasn’t progressed at all and they’re not explaining either of their backgrounds. for example, why seowoo seems emotionally neutral most the time and how the grim reaper became that supernatural creature. it just seems like we’re seeing side quests only, and not getting to know the characters personally

I agree with you and am not sure why you’re getting so many downvotes. We’re almost 30 chapters in and there’s been no romantic or plot progression. The story has been meandering along. It almost feels like aside from the sex scenes, the author isn’t sure herself how the develop these characters or where this story is going .

side note but pretty much all of this authors work centers around sex so if you are looking for a story where the plot centers corruption/royalty + less nsfw scenes, you should check out the manhwa “king’s maker” instead. kinda unfair to blame the author for their content when their works have been pretty consistent with sex scenes happening every few chapters. it’s like walking into a burger restaurant and getting upset they have too many burgers- like u knew that’s what they mainly had but u kept coming to a burger restaurant still

couldn’t agree more!! the father played a huge part in letting the abuse continue and his lack of care/empathy for his son, as a person, caused so much insecurity in the prince. he couldn’t even seek comfort or help from anyone growing up due to being betrayed by his parents.
also off topic but it’s really sad how the noble society paints the prince as this wild/violent addict when he literally has to take drugs or drink in order to not feel pain like it makes me sad how much he has to go through and is only able to rely on one person (his servant)
