couldn’t agree more!! the father played a huge part in letting the abuse continue and his lack of care/empathy for his son, as a person, caused so much insecurity in the prince. he couldn’t even seek comfort or help from anyone growing up due to being betrayed by his parents.
also off topic but it’s really sad how the noble society paints the prince as this wild/violent addict when he literally has to take drugs or drink in order to not feel pain like it makes me sad how much he has to go through and is only able to rely on one person (his servant)

i read up to ch 21 and the story had sm potential but it felt so rushed and unconnected? like why did killian have sex with mc when he’s been saving his first time for the og fl. not to mention it ended up happening bc of the “seduction plan” that was supposed to fail. i thought mc was trying to avoid going to him at night but there was literally no reason for her to go into his room so suddenly, and then him pushing them both to do the deed
to me killian/mc’s chemistry feels so forced because they barely spoke to each other and the times that they did, he was mean asf to her + the convos barely had any substance. he’s shown no trust in her and they don’t even hang out or see each other often. nothing is drawing them together if that makes sense, like there wasn’t a scene that made him realize she wasn’t a pawn to her family or smtg
her character reminded me of penelope from “villains are destined to die” which is why i kept reading but the story is not going her good nor are the major points in this story making sense (i.e, the forced romance, mc having a sudden change and thinking it frees her from og villainess’s past actions)
