he doesn’t seem like a bad guy or antagonist, but he’s definitely here to cause some chaos

i hated how much season one danced around ml’s backstory and kept pushing the annoying nympho trope with him. this direction from the last few episodes, and this current season was so NEEDED!! im gonna be really emotional seeing how mc had to got caught in the crossfire. i can’t imagine how heartbroken seoin is gonna be after hearing what truly happened because even we haven’t seen the full extent of the twin’s harassment…

i know it’s not the correct term but it rolls off the tongue smoother

it’s really funny when mangakas with lots of dudebro fans read bl then create super intricate, complex relationships between their own male characters. you DO NOT have to view them romantically- but to deny basic chemistry and view a ship as nonsensical is crazy when their goat likes to read mlm + gets inspired or praises these very things in other stories

disclaimer: season two “spoilers” mentioned
i didn’t want to start reading s2 until it finished, because during s1 the wait was KILLING ME!! but now im sad that i couldnt have live reactions with everyone else lmao

this story is so fucking AMAZING and perfectly mixes passionate love, fear, and death, it truly never lost its touch even after multiple hiatuses. finding out bada was an npc this entire time is crazy??? i can’t believe doha was an og player and was protecting mc, but putting on this only ignorant and sadistic persona! the romance between them makes me so emotional and frustrated. let them leave together already !! im excited to see this new unexplored side to doha and how far he’ll go to save his lover, im so sad our babygirl got betrayed again he never gets a break

she’s so gorgeous as expected!! all their kids models LOL

will keith say all those pretty words because im dying to see him crying and begging for more so desperately??

why is there so much emphasis on the sexual nature when it isn’t telling a story, THEYRE THE MAIN CHARACTERS!! i wouldn’t mind the heavy sex if we saw emotional intimacy during it as well, but it’s boring and showcasing sexual chemistry instead of complex feelings between them. tae let himself be used and heeseo took advantage of it again, then completely threw away his promise. over and over we witness tae get used as a sex doll, then heeseo insisting he wants him safe?? his character got reduced to a sex addicted, hypocritical scum when he had potential to be vengeful or want to understand tae as a person- and learning about all the schemes. when are they ever going to talk about the skeletons in the closet!!

and it’d be fine if the sex scenes are meant to emphasize how heeseo will always be a sadistic/selfish person but it’s just such a waste of potential given the first season. sex scenes are important to storytelling, but when it’s taking away from internal dialogue, vulnerability, and relationship development it becomes useless from a narrative standpoint

dan accepting jae for who he is, and not letting him ever cross the line while shitty and untamed?? no bullshit hopes, and only letting that child get what he needs with his jinx… jae when are you gonna become pathetic i need to see it bad!!!

this author does toxic sex way too well, she pulled out the passionate mating press and lazy backshots… gave me flashbacks

regardless of how he looks, i would still think the same way. he knows what he’s doing when he puts on the puppy role, and pretends to be easy going. meanwhile all of the adult citizens avoid him, and even shake from his intimidation. i like this about him tbh!! i don’t expect him to be some evil incarnate but he’s definitely using bambi tactics to get mc to love him and become vulnerable

MINI CANDY OH GOD IM CRYING!!! toothachingly sweet ending after all the angst we endured, it was so worth the ongoing months of pain

levipleasecallmeback created a topic of Honey Trouble

wooju’s memory loss is becoming extremely detrimental??? he hasn’t even been remembering to take the medicine either which means the effects are just that potent and dangerous from the little amount he ingested. im actually gonna cry because i feel so bad for him. the coloring of the art and lighthearted moments and expressions of the characters takes away from how heavy this arc is holy shit

he’s scarily accurate to how most resentful, insecure, and lazy men are in marriage. the abuse didn’t stem from a life altering event, caused by previous trauma. he acted chivalrous to get her attached, but then after getting comfortable he constantly pushed boundaries until he was certain she’d love him almost unconditionally. it wasn’t a quick flip. he showed her kindness, attention, and love she has never experienced before to gain control. knowing how little knowledge she has on normal relationships in general, he took advantage of her narrow view on them and would breadcrumb her his affection. for all the moments he destroyed her heart and soul, his shallow considerations must’ve felt like a drop of fresh water in the harsh desert

overall thankful there’s no tragic backstory to explain his soured love. he’s just a horrible man who’s actions cannot be understood… the abuse wasn’t special and the victim could’ve been anyone

im so ready to see our queen, the beloved courtney, bully this pathetic man’s dick. need to see him taking it and crying for some puss like the dumb little dog he is. i really missed seeing a real dominatrix and that bratty desperate sub. we needed these freakazoids more than they’ll ever know

im so used to seeing yaoi mc’s be very insecure and desperate that they’d take scraps from someone they like. to witness dajun prioritize his wellbeing instead of chasing the rush is amazing!! he expressed his disappointment in detail and gave ml necessary character development after being such a cocky, non-committed asshole. there was no ghosting and room for further misunderstanding

it’s horrible to be an impulsive option to someone instead of a choice!! i wonder if the focus will be on the twins now and ml’s post breakup arc

everything happened so fast when she was barely involved. i find it so awkward they pushed a rebellion trope but now want us to ignore it because she’s moving. and then the constant push and pull feels like a whirlwind that has no end in sight, one minute they’ll be professing their undying love and the next one of them will have raging self worth issues. ml drives me crazy thinking that she’s after his wealth when she has been loyal to him for years with love and hope on her back. anyone could defend her and he chose not to listen to her side of an obviously horrible conversation

it’s really sad to me that even in her new life she still has to work so hard to prove she genuinely cares for him at the price of her own self AGAIN. it’s bothering me too she’s the ideal woman under the patriarchy, when her depth could’ve been developed with isabel and her time working as a nurse

i thought his boldness was cute and refreshing but now its genuinely insane and doesn’t make sense with the conflicting background information. he’s trying to stay out of chases sight but is also constantly taunting or provoking him ? the other times made sense a little bit because chase egged him on first, but there is supposed to be a power dynamic! chase could just ask for a new body guard to replace mc or just decide to make his life hell….

we know his goal is to get his quick money and go. im all for mc getting his petty revenge is minor moments but he’s doing bold things that obviously puts him and his family on the radar

before this chapter, i thought the brothers had some sort of codependent bond and thats why the older one bullied mc. i assumed it was a one sided emotionally incestuous relationship, but it’s even worse finding out the other twin was straight up evil incarnate

its shocking that ever since the older brother was a CHILD he had such psychotic, violent tendencies and took it out on someone so completely innocent who looked exactly like his own twin. the mother and father deserve hell for letting him get away with everything igdaf

is everything about this story cliche and predictable? yes. is the story still hilarious and heart achingly cute? also yes.

his puppy form is so ridiculously adorable i couldn’t stop myself from awwing or gushing every chapter

levipleasecallmeback created a topic of No Moral

there were so many times i wanted to bash mr kangs head in for being the biggest asshole to yoonshin. it was completely unnecessary in certain moments, but he’s lucky that yoonshin loves him so much and constantly tried to reconnect their feelings. however despite his shit behavior, i found myself liking ml because once he accepted his feelings… he fell harder and hasn’t held back since. he’s completely desperate, and would forsake his entire life, philosophy, and comfort just for his man!!!

i prefer puppy, overly consider tops but imo mr kang’s tsundere personality was executed well. his sadistic moments are now endearing to me and i find his clinginess to mc hilarious because of the gap moe. also their chemistry is overly electric… some of the best in all of romance webtoons?? the tension and the way their longing was drawn is incredible. the foreplay and overall build up to sex had me in a chokehold too while reading, mr kang the man that you are
