loveeee this story!! something that i keep coming back to is how important perspective is. in their 1st lives, aeroc was reprimanded and basically beat when he was young until he couldn’t cry anymore and even says that control of emotions is what noblemen do. this would basically keep him from crying until pretty much the end of his first life despite him living in misery and anguish. but in kloff’s perspective, aeroc wouldn’t cry meaning he clearly wasn’t hurting the way kloff was. if anything, he was pretty much doing everything to MOCK him and try to garner pity.
perspective is just different realities. whether these realities are rooted in truth varies. but i really enjoy how we can see both character’s feelings.

“let us forgive them and never commit such violences again. not for anyone else but for yourself” sammyeong was young but so wise!! he was truly someone destined for greatness :’(
I really love his character, to his wife, daughter, to the people and to the ML, he was a good man to everyone
