but ughhh, the next season will be a lot of flashbacks huh... like i understand the importance of the background story because we need to know why ian is THIS obsessed with baek eunsan + i hope the author shows how important ian was to baek eunsan & how impacted he was when ian left, but i feel this would bite the author back after they officially stated baek eunsan "was" 100% hetero... which again, could j be an odd way a non-queer person fetishises the concept of "i'm straight but you're my exception" or j an odd perception of the conservative nations, so maybe the author would still add that ian was v important to eunsan but that's it...?

j a disclaimer: you can care VERY much about someone & not have romantic feelings for them, but this shit a romantic yearning slop yaoi, so!

i know he's upset & remoreseful about what he said to his mum, & i hope he fucking reflects exactly on what he said. hyesung is now in his life - hell, he was in every right to not want a child in the beginning, whom he came for not long after leaving, which is exactly what makes him VERY different from the grandmother. hyesung came back & made an EFFORT to stay, change & raise byul. byul almost equating hyesung to the grandmother is absolute fucking bullshit. i understand it's because he's a teen & things are happening back-to-back for him where he's always the one wronged, so he likely lashed out, especially towards hyesung who has ALWAYS given him so much more grace & benefit of the doubt, but it doesn't stop me from absolutely FUMING over how he treated hyesung. i am a hyesung defender until i fucking die, since the first story & until now

also, not byul being a hypocrite too with the "you never heard her side of the story!" & did you hear byul's about why he wasn't around during your time of birth? the fuck

i was trying to skim through to sleep - aside from the very obviously rushed & quarter-assed ending, can someone tell me whether they ever addressed the misunderstandings? there's a LOT of plot holes & j forgotten elements no?

1. the previous omega who the alpha was previously fucking & who he said he might see again after his relationship w/ the mc ends

2. in relation to above, the previous omega was never raised again even when the alpha said he didn't want to sleep with anyone? even though the previous omega was a clear contention in their relationship?

3. the misunderstandings on how fucking horribly he worded out that he was j scared of starting smth he knew he'd 1 day lose which is such a gd loser & half-ass excuse anyways, but it would've done A LOT to clarify with the mc

4. mc moving on was dramatic as hell j for them to get back in the final chapter, within 3 panels??? brah

5. OBVIOUSLY the whole thing with minseong, the pregnancy, their families, usa vs europe etc.

the timing is so horrible. it's not giving byul a chance to take a break AT ALL while also being a slap to hyesung's face to find this out after he's protected & stood in favour of byul this whole time. i wasn't happy with byul seeing hyesungs mother in private, though i understood it's complicated & he didn't have the full picture. i wanted hyesung to be told/find out eventually too, because he deserves to know this so badly, but the timing... it's j too awful man. like let byul have a breather ;;
