im curious why authors finish the main stories and jump to side stories just to add in the most essential aspects. like- couldnt they have just not finished the main story yet in the first place? its like love is an illusion literally has like 30+ side stories and alot of the important plot points are in them instead of the main story
i heard that older potato's timeline (the ones w/ a "bl undertone") is just to please some fans and isnt in the main storyline where its a platonic father/mother(?) son relationship. imagine everything as a story that (unlike the baby potato universe) doesnt build up to any major scenario (e.g., discovering potato's heritage) and is similar to a slice of life type of timeline, and random bl moments are just added for fun and spice (you may notice that the author doesnt go too sexual that its creepy cause, again, the origin of the story is platonic) but it isnt rooted into the plot. that genderbend photo is another example of this. fan service.
lmao all their sex scenes went wack af since that chapter where dowon goes nuts when he found out beom didnt ask for help from his manager
imagine having a friend like aiden who buts into people's relationships like he knows them. like i get teasing is fun but lyle is such a gullible overthinker give him a damn break and gtfo
i said it before and ill say it again, older brother's a wuss. dude just wasted his time when he couldve flat out told iori what was up. the story took a turn for the worst just as i expected.
i can tell the author tried real hard to make DH to be redeemable but theres hardly been any progress and the story apparently ends 3 chapters from this one.
basically: siwoo is taken to the hospital. when he wakes up he and DH fck for the last time. DH gets called by his grandma and fsr she looks concerned about him? maybe she found out about him being SA'd idk i cant read korean. and a timelapse i think where siwoo is at his shop then some guy is waiting for him; most likely an admirer. DH sees them from afar and follows them to the same place where he got siwoo injured. siwoo notices DH and kisses the other guy while looking at DH. chapter ends w/ DH walking away frustrated.
personally i didnt want them to end together cause siwoo getting together with someone who harrassed ur livelihood and traumatised ur close friend doesnt seem like itd end well, but i also expected some type of progress w/ DH's attitude and his life overall. like- even tho he couldnt get siwoo, it couldve been a turning point for him to face the consequences of his actions and live a more just life. truthfully the main story wasnt my favorite either but i didnt feel this much frustration for it. the idea alone of having sidestories for DH and siwoo was fcked up, that it intrigued me how the author was gonna make a route for them. what a waste
as someone who's reread this for god knows how many times i must say, the art style took a drastic turn
leah's old colleague who lost his wife and child to the plague will always be my roman empire
theo's ex needs to be put in his place istg i thought his sister "kindly" humbling him was enough also kinda ironic how he fell for theo's other ex
