i don't approve of what he did nor do i personally like the guy, but he didn't do anything illegal.

He didnt rape her, The MAID was the one who seduced the father. Which is why the maid was so loyal and grateful to the MC because even though she make a spell and seduced the father she was still forgiven hats why she was teaching hed child to know her place in the family and not to have such desires of being a member. Thats why the child became rebellious. But honestly I also couldn't tolerate cheating, yet the MC was just scared having his second chance to have a family be teared up to pieces. And also in my opinion there is already a character growth with the MC because he wasn't as perverted as he was before and started to focus more on his studies. Well hes a man in my opinion so it's normal to have such fantasies,yet I still don't tolerate cheating.

The maid was madly in love with the dad and couldn’t contain her love for him so she seduced the dad. Her whole plan was to run away with the child. SHE EVEN SAID THIS. It’s like you said the mc was scared of losing his second family so he made up the story about the dad raping the maid. I can’t believe everyone is forgetting this. Personally I don't tolerate cheating nor condone but the maid honestly said she did seduced the dad. Well the dad was shit to fall knowing his wife is pregnant. But I don't think the dad is only the fault here. Honest if I were in the position I would have executed them. Yet MC gave the maid a chance even she seduced the dad which really captured her loyalty and that's why she vowed to follow MC forever.

Yeah. Yet again if this has anime version I dont really mind if they change scenes a little. Well you know some mangas or LN with anime adaptation sometimes irritates me because they keep changing or skip some scenes. Well this manga I think is an exception.
