Second story was typical rapish sort of thing with characters in love at the end so I dig but THE SECOND STORY wtf he should burn. Seme even admitted he doesn't like uke and will gladly throw him away at any time like just die already

Amorim March 21, 2018 7:26 am

Now maybe I just didn't understand but I'm pretty sure this was one big plot hole. Why was there a set up of "we used to have sex before you lost your memory" and then later a set up of "amnesia boy is actually a secret badass either hiding his powers or who forgot he was a badass" like this just left me confused from binning to end

    chubbii_chii March 21, 2018 8:12 am

I get what you mean. I feel like there was something missing in this manga, because you're right there were a couple of paths that it seemed to go down but eventually just sort of fizzled out. Maybe the mangaka wanted to have false roads or maybe just isn't good writing but I felt that this one had a lot of potential but was kind of a let down in the end.

    ikariam1 March 21, 2018 9:53 am

It wasn’t “we used to have sex before you lost your memory”, it was just aachan daydreaming, his way of punishing himself for ryo falling. The ryo in his dreams still remembered what had happened, and acted sadistically to punish aachan. And as to why they were having sex.. well, aachan liked ryo, so?

    reive March 21, 2018 11:47 am

yeah I feel the story tackled many heavy psychological issues but lacked depth in resolution. It would have been nice if they had stretched the story a bit because really, such serious issue don't get resolved in just a few days. Take Sora's case for example. It's true it varies from person to person but to myself as a reader, I feel unsatisfied. But, well, the main couple is happy. Let's hope Sora finds his own too.

He was such a cool character but now he's so irritating. I'm starting to hate him as much as I hate arlo

    Anonymous March 14, 2018 1:17 am

Who is irritating? John? Why are you blaming one character's so-called irritating behavior that is caused by another irritating character on the first character? In that case it sounds like you actually LIKE Arlo. Ktbn

Abusing your power is still abusing your power. He talks all this game about the strong protecting the weak and yet he still treats the blue haired girl like trash. She may be a prejudiced product of the system but he was literally doing to her the same thing everyone else did. He's a hypocrite and it makes me angry. I've been bullied ok? I've been treated like garbage and yet I know I would NEVER do to the kids who bullied me the same thing. Sorry if I expect a higher standard from my main character

If you didn't experience the exact same kind of bullying (yes, I do indeed believe this can refer to bullying minus the powers) as John then you do not have any right to say anything about John by YOUR own logic.

And even if you did, and that means you have the right to say something by this same logic, you are highly unusual. MOST people want to get back at their bullies. How do I know this? Because I was bullied and, even though I wasn't neatly killed by my bullies, I STILL want to get back at them. Because they are the ones who needed to change yet as the VICTIM I'M the one who has to forgive them by changing? Thst's just victim blaming B.S.

The bullies are the ones who become like the ones that bullied them. By bullying others. That is NOT what John is doing, so how is he becoming like them, again? Thought so.

Finally, I am glad that John is only NOW showing such high standards. Before he was NOT actually. Thanks,

Uh ok? Sorry you're bitter and I hope you learn to let go and move on. I wouldn't say I'm unusual, I know plenty of friends who have wanted to just die based on how other people treated them but they don't go and treat them like garbage back. Hatred plus hatred gives end to... guess what? More hatred. I'm not saying John has to take any shit but he's not acting meek to prove a point. He's doing it because he's a coward and doesn't believe that strength can be paired with morality. He even emitted it in last couple chapters. Anyway my preferable main guy was electric girls brother. He was a role model and leader and none of that reflected poorly on others. He really tried to change things for the better when John just thought everyone was trash and it was better to give up on them. Have your opinion and I'll have mine. I think he's mean and I just don't and never will respect that

Amorim March 12, 2018 10:27 am

I'm against just about everyone here I guess lol. When I read this l read it from the very beginning and as I near the end I always get really scared for when it's going to be over. I cannot deal with this ever ending please by all means sensei write another 80 chapters of tsudere ritsu because I love it and their relationship and I think they both know what's up even though ritsu denies it. There's my two cents :Đ

Amorim March 5, 2018 5:15 am

I have no reasoning behind this but this didn't seem like a happy ending. They smiled in a way where it seemed like it was going to end soon. Def not my favorite omegaverse

I've never seen a character that I was unable to see as attractive but sorry haru nii you look like a (insert dinosaur of your choice). He was interestingly realistic though and I did like that

People over analyze Manga so so so so so much. You wanna know why you're not enjoying a plot? Because you are making it to be a way bigger deal than it is. Just assume the author is not tackling society's issues and flaws and just enjoy the goddamn story

( ̄へ ̄) really? Did you bother to read the comment? They aren't saying I don't like it. They are saying it's bad by judging the characters under rules that apply to real people. This is work of fiction. You either like the story or you don't, but you don't translate it to the real world and judge it according to reality because then most fictional works ( not only mangas) won't hold out. Taste is an opinion, judgement is based on facts (ideally). And the people complaining about this manga are judging by parameters that aren't relevant in a work of fiction.

Yeah this is basically spot on. If you don't like it you don't like it but dragging it through the mud just because you dont like the situation they created and want to bring up real stuff in a work of fiction just makes me mad. I actually really liked this Manga and I almost didn't read it because of the overly critical comments

They are very well relevant in a work of fiction. How am I supposed to give a shit about the conflict presented when it's followed through so poorly? You and Amorim are free to enjoy the manga despite its flaws, but don't get upset when others don't enjoy it.

How exactly is it relevant? It's not real. I can go out and write a book about gore and rape and that's relevant to reality? I'll try one more time to state that it's fine if you didn't like the story and the rape or the age gap or whatever it was you didn't like. But everyone over analyzing this story like the author meant for the mother to appear like a shit person. You guys can clearly read words and actions but what about vibes? Did that seem like a disgusting unhappy scene to you? Really? All I'm saying I'd the author probably didn't think twice about how this story was supposed to be interpreted. They probably assumed that the cute flowery backgrounds were enough for people but for everyone here just keeps freaking out about pointless things. Not because the topics themselves are pointless but because it's FICTION. If everyone you look at a snowflake you think if crystals and condensation and which direction the wind blew to get it to where it is, you will never appreciate the snow does that make sense? Just stop over analyzing. Not everything is an attack towards a demographic. Sometimes a story is just that. A story

Look I get where you're coming from but there's a difference between discussing flaws and saying "how disgusting that he was raped and the mother didn't do anything about it. Ruined it for me." That's projecting onto real world issues and I honestly think if everyone didn't get hung up on something that isn't even real you guys would enjoy the story a lot more. I've said everything I could possibly say. I even said I wasn't gonna argue lol. Anyway have a nice day and try to just read without getting too hung up on things

LOL. So you believe fiction should not be criticized? @Anonymous

By all means criticize it. But do it based on this particular work. Not bringing reality into it. This is a light-hearted manga. It wasn't meant for any more nor less than that. If you can't make that distinction then you are missing out on it. If the story had a more serious tone and the kid actually reacted as a real person, then the mother's reaction would have been way off. But it is not the case. And worst of all, you are keeping potential readers from this manga because you can't difference between reality and fiction.

I am basing the criticism on this particular work. Read pages 30-45 of chapter 2 and try to tell me again that this is a light-hearted manga. Stop making it out be an issue of reality vs fiction. I like plenty of manga with unrealistic elements because of the way they're handled. This manga as I've said before does a poor job of following through with the conflict it presents.

I don't have problem with most of the yaoi tropes not being real. And ......It doesn't need to reflect society' s problems but need to have some consistency. The character personality and their reactions just don't match. For me, it was like introducing a character who is a vegetarian and showing in the next panel enjoying chicken 65- where did it come from?!

I've seen many of your previous comments- you also comment about mangas who don't portray the story in a realistic way. Ex: "mangaka sometimes adds scenes to the mangas to make them more dramatic or something and they end up annoying or absurd"- can't your point also be negated by saying "it's just fiction so it doesn't need to be realistic". So it's not as simple a matter of being fiction or real. Most fiction, in fact, reflect the society, it's norms and cultures. Yaoi's have many exceptions, but they have their own way of binding things together in a way that makes sense. For instance, they are true to their character portrayal and background to match it. I think most of the negative comments are about that- Not it being a unrealistic fiction, but an illogical fiction. There is a difference. PS: not stalking, just finished the manga "Lover's Potion" and saw your comment.
