The Daniel name for Hyun Suk is a bother for me. I hope things will go back to how they were when the translation team comes back from their exams ^^
The last chapters (152-157...) were really depressing, seriously. I, too, don't have many family members, even less than him... It's understandable that his mom wants to keep the appearences, but those people are truly morons assholes ! This other sister in law could have give to Hyun Suk's mom some clothes, since she had received so many clothes. And how come Hyun Suk doesn't buy new clothes for her, wasn't he working in convenience store ? I like this manhwa a lot, I do, though sometimes it seems the "Lookism" and misery displayed along is pushed too far.
Daniel is the name used in the official English translations. Hyun Suk is the Korean name from the original manhwa.
I prefer the original Korean names rather than the English converted ones

(Uke) looks plain and innocent, yet his imagination runs so wild some times lol. He's surprisingly cute and bold. How many times have I facepalmed because of what comes from his mouth ? I was afraid BJ might hurt or kick him... (Will this be another Killing Stalking ? Warehouse...?). Hopefully, things go smoother...
I couldn't go further than the first few chapters, sorry to say. First, the lips of the Uke really bother me, this look on his face, his overly innocent look lol... He seems to having live in a bubble all his life and seems too unreaslistic as character. Btw if you had noticed he doesn't change clothes even when he goes to bed...??

I have the impression that author-san PTJ knows well that this manhwa has a great potential for BL. He wants to attract the most people possible (yaoifangirls) by exploiting that filon, but he totally playing with us poor crazy fujoshis' heart.
It's a bit cruel from author-san to do that, if this story has no hope for Jae Yeol (and us!). This story isnt even described as shonen-ai ┑(￣Д ￣)┍... Poor sweety Jae Yeol, my yaoi soul would like So Much x1000 something happening between them, but.... ragrhhh...!

Actually being with Jae Yeol is too predictable. Following your logic the author is also showing how Seojong and Hyungsuk are attracted to each other despite how the other looks. After all, for the longest time neither Seojong nor Hyungsuk knew/suspected the truth about each other and neither did the readers about Seojong. If the author is playing to the yaoi fan base, he must ALSO be playing to the base that supports a true romance between a very pretty girl and a conventionally 'ugly' guy, which, according to you, is not predictable. Unless you want to argue against what you said, before, now.
Lol ! Did you realize that this manhwa is NOT a BL nor yaoi ? But a supposed conventional Seinen story where, if a romantic relationship is involved, the guy will always end up with a girl ? Unless it's specifically described as "Yaoi". (No matter how big and strong is the yaoi fanbase of Lookism).

I doubt we're the only one to think that, Frisky. It's common nowadays for authors to add some strong shonen-ai elements to attract the yaoi fans (popularity, sales...) in shonen and seinen mangas/manwhas. We as desperate yaoi fans are often played with... but can't have our cake, unless author-san change the course for such story. Though we know that won't happen for Lookism.
Yup, that's true. Even in animes you can see a lot of shounen ai elements just for yaoi fans but well, in the end nothing will happen between them.. I think that's super cruel of the authors ._.

I think PTJ sama already know how the yaoifans ship hard this pairine, but author-san here is a male and popular artiste, internet personality in Korea, and he would'nt want to be categorized as yaoi author I think. He wouldn't want either to scare away the hetero fanbase (seinen, shojo...). So there is an extreme minus chance for a Jae Yeol X Hyun Suk, but the masochist us can still pray

OMG, this is a really good qualiity Yaoi that we have here. I didn't expected that from this title at all, such a delight ! I just read it the other day and finished it in two days ^^
At first, since I'm more accustomed to mangas-type and cutting of page, I was wondering if koreans artists know actually how to cut pages (like the mangas). But we shouldn't compare mangas and webcomics, right ? Each has their own spects and narration.

I'm amazed by the background, the characters and adventures ; intrigues she imagined and set in this story. Everything seems complexe and complicated, so dark, yet so realistic at the same time. I was amazed, frustrated, very frustrated for decades of chapters, my heart was crying for them, and happy for those love birds... Trust me, rarely I was so frustrated and desperated reading a BL romance ; I was so scared for Conor, so worried about Simon seeing him like this (and you know what I mean :'( )
I'm very grateful to Juns and her collegue/s for their wonderful work and talent. Juns is really amazing, she wasn't scared to put up the intrigue and the personality of the characters till the end, despite their darkness and the violence that goes along.
I'm also thankful to the team who translate this great story for us. My favorite of all times.
