This story is irritating trash. Mc gets stepped on throughout the whole story, everyone except him is EVIL and he gets ZERO revenge. It's like watching someone torturing a kitten/puppy and then forcing you to marry this person and be happy about it, as they keep on torturing small animals. Pointless story, like the webtoon "no reason". It's for people who enjoy torture. I don't, so i'm outta here.

Not surprised he's not truly a green flag, just disappointed. Although he did appear suspicious right from the start. People keep forgetting about the first chapter and his insensitive, opportunistic behaviour. He's by far less naive than he appears, it's a facade because he has a purpose. He has a side that the other people living in town have witnessed, hence their cowering.. He most likely has an unhealthy obsession with his purpose to protect and control (yes control, that's what he does from the shadows, at least for mc who is oblivious to his behaviour) the town he 'built'. He has displayed slightly narcissistic behaviours and for now he seems to enjoy the attention from mc without actually feeling attracted to him. He has a hidden agenda, almost as if he's searching for a way to gouge out mc's usefulness and tie him to the town ir get something else from him. We'll see.

I never called him a red flag, i just said he's not a green flag and that he has a hidden agenda, which is obvious regarding the clues we are given. He doesn't have to be evil, he's just obviously NOT the innocent character he appears as. So you basically assumed things and came to came up with a highly biased and subjective conclusion. My 'wording' was nothing but me taking into account my observations and suggesting possibilities regarding the plot. A main character being shady doesn't mean that the story is going to be shit in the first place, just possibly more interesting and complex, personal preference regarding ml's personality aside.

The most likely unwritten outcome, after their supposed 'happy ending', is this shallow, cheap motherfucker getting bored, sleeping around again and giving his victim the sexually transmitted disease he didn't get to give him in the main story. I don't believe even for a second that their relationship became equal after they both confessed. The sad truth is that mc will never be able to have any bodily autonomy. Nor say over anything at all. That would be only realistic, considering ml is a pos with antisocial personality tendencies, that gets off hurting mc.
I fucking love mc, he deserves much better. This story would be 10/10 as psychological horror with mc truly escaping from this creep.
