please please PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T LET THE NEXT ARC HAVE A LOVE TRIANGLE "COMEDY" BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE PLAY W/MC AND HIS CO-STARS
they're slowly establishing her as having an annoying petulant aegyo personality, and i hope to god it won't turn into multiple female co-stars vying for an oblivious MCs attention. literally one of the most brain dead tropes out there.
even if the side plot ends up good like Youth and confession of a priest, the behind the scenes is what truly pushes the plot forward. i'd hate to see it get derailed with a crush sub-plot.
author hasn't disappointed us so far so i'm gonna choose to believe in the author one more time and say they'll handle this well and give the girl a much needed character development arc where she isn't only defined in the story by her feelings for the MC.

god i love it when normally smart couples in other aspects of their life suddenly share one braincell when it comes to romance. the drama, the yearning, the concealed glances, the barely controlled passion, the awkward hijinks, the 'what is this... feeling?'
heuheuheuuuwrrgg YES YESS feed me all the tropes you adorable fools

it paints such a startling picture of the kpop industry. because this was written by an author, who probably just did surface research or interviewed acquaintances. but even from the POV of a regular person looking in, the horrifying weight requirements of an idol is treated so callously & framed as this quirky, eye-of-the tiger moment for her.
even after all that segment about her ex members bullying her about her weight, turns out, their fucked up, near anorexic expectations of body weight WASN'T the problem. it's because they weren't nice about pointing it out!
that's just... that just so insane to me man.

not a fan of the 'getting revenge is sooo bad cuz you won't be happy in the end uwu :'(' trope. you can really feel the preachy catholic undertone sometimes.

I think the translation is not giving much hint, plus how a webtoon can't show everything going on, I'm reading the novel and I realize there's things being left out compared to it (and some additional things too).
Is not that Ariadne is regretting revenge or that revenge is bad, this revenge feels wrong for her precisely due to how anticlimactic is, Lucrecia kept her lips tight regarding Ippolito's father, and Ariadne feels is unfair that a shit like Ippolito is the receipt of unconditional maternal love when Ariadne herself is alone, her own mother has passed away and Arabelle died alone on a bed.
And yes, is frustrating.
you're not even out of your casts and they fuck with you psychologically like this on your hospital bed lmao
