I mean it wasn't bad and the art was beautiful but no way in hell naoki wasn’t a predator on this one, minato reminding him of his old classmate doesn’t make it any better.
And the prez unknowingly did a good one by separating them on that coming of age ceremony rendez-vous, cuz meeting him again at 18 is only legal on paper but exudes major Drake energy in real life which is hella creepy when you think abt it

Look, I liked the story for the most part and the art was beautiful but y’all need to stop acting like the beginning of their relationship wasn’t problematic.
Minato was in his third year of middle school when they met, so he was 13 going 14, when he promised him to meet him in his coming of age ceremony he was still in his hometown, meaning he didn’t start college yet, but maybe I’m wrong on this one, anyways that was supposed to be 6 years later, making Minato 19.
And now yeah, minato was then legal but that doesn’t make it as okay as some of y’all are making it out to be.
Now I know their love was genuine and all, but in real life that would scare the shit out of me if my 13 year old friend made a promise with some adult guy in his late 20s to meet him 6 years later and the adult taking it seriously and looking forward to it. I’m sorry but how can you fall for a KID when you’re this old and want to be called normal.
Now I’m not saying the story is bad. It’s a good story with beautiful story telling and art. However just because you like the story doesn’t mean you have to justify the problematic aspects of it and acting like it’s normal when it’s not. Stop acting blind to it.
You can like the manga and acknowledge its problematic aspect at the same time.

This is so wholesome They’re so in love with each other I want to cry a little
And it makes me so happy that they took the time to talk about his sexuality and acknowledge that gender doesn’t matter to him and not make it another "straight man who happens to be in love with a guy" type of situation as so many yaois do

My ship sank but this one’s on me for confidently thinking that Junseo would be the ML...
idk he was introduced nicely, he had depth, he was ten times more handsome than Karam, He stayed with jaewon throughout the whole thing, was here for him when he was at his lowest, shared his story with him, listen to HIS story.. like at some point I even thought jaewon became confused abt his feelings for junseo or something but nooo that was not it apparently.
I just feel hella dumb for reading this and being sure that those two would end up together only for it to end up this way..

I'm so sad about this I read this awhile back when it was just starting out and I LOVED Junseo and was really sure the author was planning to pull a little sneaky on us. A little bait and switch with Karam and then reveal Junseo was the real love and that would have been AMAZING. I can't bother reading it now because my heart will break :(( Junseo deserves the world and the author is honestly kinda mean for fooling us all only to disappoint:(

Woah Karam was really boring and bland for me.. i don’t recall anything noteworthy abt his character plus we only saw him once every 10 chapters...
like why go through all the trouble of developing junseo’s character only for it to end up this way for him.. we didn’t see jaewon connect with Karan at all, their love seemed at the superficial stage and the ending seemed so rushed Because while Karam and jaewon got tgther the other characters didn’t have any closure to their respective stories.
And it’s a shame because the author introducing all these different characters with different personalities and backstories had so much potential only for it to be wasted

People really be out here defending the crown prince and making excuses for him... I don’t care for his sad backstory, he’s an adult now and should be held accountable for his actions

he's a fucking dick who wants power but acts like 'uwu woe is me I didn't want to be a crown prince' .....yeah right like you don't asshole, you brought a dragon to life to solidify your place as the next King.
Suu doesn't deserve this bullshit. I'm just happy he's not a stupid fool who fell for the crown prince and decided to dedicate his life to him. Suu is fucking gangster yo, he's like 'aight, fuck it, I may be immoral in some ways, but CHILD MURDER AIN'T MY SHITE'
and the prince be like, 'ain't murder breakfast for the royal palace? this shit is normal'
......dafuq.

I get why some are irritated with suu cuz he isn’t the good hearted protagonist we often see but rlly he’s the only one I care about.. All of his choices are for his survival, he doesn’t give a shit abt the higher ups feud and I don’t give a shit abt it too, as long as there’s rain The people are happy who cares abt legitimacy.
I just want him to be happy and free and I actually want him to backstab Jin suryeon -not that it would ruin the prince or anything as suu already stated, I just think that suu needs to get back at him for all the shit he went through bcs of him.. I Just want the prince to feel some pain after treating people like trash
the crown prince is a fucking piece of shit that manipulated him since day one, alters with his memories and used his only friend against him and when he treated him like a whore by giving him money after suu told him that it’s not the reason why he slept with him made my blood boil.
Like I get it that he likes him and is interested in him and all but he’s too much of a calculating prick to change and be honest with suu and the power dynamic is too unbalanced.. like suu might have the illusion to be on equal grounds with him sometimes, like when he smiles at him and all but then every time suu doesn’t act like he wants him to or makes him irritated, jin’s behavior changes completely and reminds him of his position like the time he slapped him for example..
So yeah I’m not rooting for them
His past with nadan is really heart wrenching tho like he really does everything for him and sacrificed his innocence for him by taking the dirty jobs for his sake, but really that just ruined their relationship, nadan is too much of a good hearted guy to take that burden.
The one relationship I’m really rooting for is with the dragon kid, I don’t care how they end up, be it friends or lovers idc as long as they end up happy, it’s the relationship with the less complications and they both don’t have much choice in their lives, the dragon was summoned for the royal family and the country.
Like suu he’s just a piece in the royals’ power struggle. He didn’t ask for this shit he’s only there for suu really.. and suu is starting to care for more and more abt him now so I can see their relationship develop in a more healthy way as the dragon is the only one that’s honest with him
This is my first time I see (the closest thing to) a healthy open relationship in Yaoi, it’s great actually!
Loving their dynamic
