Why does the Uke always needs to suffer???
Is it only to make the shitty Seme more heroic and reformed? Or is it just sadism?
Do we really need to see the bl yaoi trope of Uke getting assaulted, kidnapped and raped?
Funny thing is, Uke always gets in this miserable situation because it is always related to the desired rich attractive immture ML/Alphahole...
Let's not forget ML/Seme already forces Uke tp do hard sex with him...

That story would be more empowering, if the FL and her aunt wouldn't be so easily manipulated/blackmailed by that Uncle and his wife.
I like that the ML isn't our typical Alphahole but I find find quite unnatural that he suddenly became a knight in shiny armor when FL suddenly became dumb and helpless.
Ya know....that was easier said than done. What's the alternative than trying to trust the uncle? Both of them think about each other. The FL didn't want to worsen her auntie's condition (although that was a failure) and the auntie didn't want the FL to work to fatigue.
In a way, they are helpless but definitely not dumb.
Is the MC/adoptive father really too old for an adventure guild???
How old is he actually?
Even his childhood beastkin friend doesn't look old at all...

The difference/comparison between "The beginning after the end" and "Trash of the Count's Family"....
Because TBATE keeps popping up in online comic websites.
I read many chapters and spoilers from NovelUpdate/Wikia about the story of Arthur Leywin.
I strangely relate more to Cale who is an intelligent mysterious schemer but prefers being in the background and having a comfortable leisure lifestyle; than Arthur who was in his first life a struggling orphan becoming a King/the strongest after losing his close ones and training for vengeance...
To be honest, I feel more comfortable about Cale, his worldbuilding + logic and people.
I think what I personally dislike about the world of Arthur/King Grey is the overdramatic tone, shonen trope vibes and its politics.
Correct me, if I am wrong but I get the impression that TBATE is more convential masculine, hierachal and pro monarchy.
I like to hear your arguments. To be clear, this is not about trashing the popular "The beginning after the end" but collecting other arguments why I and others prefer Trash Count.
I also prefer trash of counts tbh, I love cale too damn much, he is so lovable and I really love the dynamics. I'm a softie and a sucker for sweet and heartwarming stuff.
And also in TBATE I dropped it after his confession to his parents about his true identity. It broke my heart so much that I cannot bear myself to continue reading it.
What I also noticed is that the few female characters in Trash Count are less sexualized/gendered than in TBATE. And they haven't fall in love with Cale, Thank God.
Generally I get the feeling that the characters in Trash Count have their own agency despite being "drawn" to Cale.
When I read TBATE everything is more focused and centered around Arthur who gets admired by everyone and how strong he gets by demonstrating his power growth...
Nobita from Japan
Many things are going away in Japan because of the virus (e.g. traveling, events, eating out, etc), but what about cheating? Is it finally less common now? [Please turn on CC for English subtitles]

Japan’s Cheating Problem (Female POV)
It may be far-fetched to say it but, if only the mother/wife has more guts, being less desilluisoned, less hypocritical and less toxic codependent to an obvious shitty scum husband, her daughter wouldn't suffer so much.
After reading chapter 9 There is no way that he really cares about his daughter well being. What he cares is his fucking reputation/image.
Everytime a modern woman from South Korea possesses an extra, supporting character or villainess and claims that she wants to cut ties with all the MLs for peace sake they suddenly inexplicably, irrlogically and in a very absurd fashion are interested in her for suddenly acting differently...
Making her automatically the center of attention/target and literally the most desired woman in her realm...
And the FL/MC has never enough guts to say FUCK OFF. Well she is usually too clumsy or too soft to say NO.
The only reincarnated Villainess I know of who really stays consequential is:
MELISSA THE BITCH QUEEN (Beware Of The Villainess)
And there is Sasha (The Pet Of The Villainess) who shares her love and pain with other characters to empower + emancipate them for good.
Any other stories of this genre you can recommend to me where the MC doesn't get swayed/intimidated by MLs who are her victims or enemies???
Jeremy really cares about Roxanna but Dion wants to see her sad, desperate and angry so he will always be in her heart... A Twisted lonely bastard...
I dislike the fact that there are commentators wanting to ship Roxanna and Dion because he is a hot dark bad boy... Ignoring also the fact that he killed Ashil Roxanna's beloved older brother and almost deliberately gotten her mother killed.
Thanks!
In Villainess Maker it bothers me that the story reinforce the Myth about corsets.

I think his existence was quite unneccessary. I mean in the novel he is just there and stupidly loyal to FL who doesn't really appreciate that he was the only person who really cares about her and died while trying to find her in the original timeline...
Now I am pissed off... Why even bother introducing him at all???

https://brideandbreakfast.ph/2020/11/28/lessons-from-second-lead-syndrome/
yea that pisses me off too, author probably put him there to use him as a tool to make ml jealous or be a stepping stone for ml and fl to get together. wish they stop adding love rivals for no reason LOL
forever and always in the novel he’s always so sweet but yeah no it hurts to see him cast aside like AHH NOO :(
IKR in this case just 1 ml is fine. We don’t need someone as precious as Kahu to suffer from unrequited love, it’s too unfortunate. For the mc and ml love side characters will always have to suffer from this in these kinda of novels and manhuas.
That is the problem. Probably because the chosen ML himself is so problematic that the author either has to introduce male antagonists who are cartoonish worse than manchild ML or the infamous wasted unappreciated better choice 2nd ML whose main purpose is to force ML to become a better lover/boyfriend because his positive existence pose a real threat.
Read: The Lady's Butler
The 2nd ML gets the love he deserved.
aH thank u I already read that th Lancelot is this whole puppy towards her it’s adorable :3 I can’t wait for her to explain the whole reincarnation thing too (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
You know by introducing Kahu the author unintentionally demonstrate why Dylan is not a good catch/partner for Charlize.
First of all it is quite bizarre that she ends up with the son of the emperor who made her into a sword suffering for hundreds of years. And second after the successful rebellion when she saw that Dlyan turns his father into the same immortal thing she became so terrified because she knows how horrible it is to be stuck forever as a sword.
And when she wanted to leave Dylan for good and ran away he recaptured her and forces her to stay with him until she reciprocates his love for her...
I don't know about you but that is just too messed up and unhealthy!
And big pluspoint is... Lancelot is not a complete idiot/simp.
He is very self-aware and self-reflective!
You have to admire him that he let go of the original heroine on his own because he realized that she didn't appreciate him enough ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Sorry for my bad English but can u give me the link for the novel plz
Yeah exactly, I mean he was the shadow emperor right? So he probably knew about her being turned into a sword right? And even still he didn’t do anything. I might be mistaken on this part because the emperor killed everyone involved in the process of her turning into a sword but I don’t think he would hide it from his descendants and the future kings. It would kinda make the whole thing pointless lol. Yeah in the it’s sort of the same cycle again. Stockholm syndrome, from what I’m guessing. She has no choice to love him or else he won’t let her go. Common trope which is disappointing.
https://www.novelupdates.com/series/i-tamed-a-tyrant-and-ran-away/
I mean...him being toxic isn't exactly surprising? I'm not saying its acceptable to be in an unhealthy, possessive relationship like that, however, he is literally a tyrant. He's been introduced as batshit insane from the start. The toxicity is just the cherry on top, compared to his manipulative nature. I'm not happy about how their relationship ends up, but it isn't a surprise.
The toxicity just became more obvious when Kahu appeared...
