The Bad Boy Trope, Explained
There is this trope/logic that exists on other Mangas + Manwahs and is bothering me personally:
MC accidently created the tyrannical antagonist.
To make it more complicated and more melodramatic soapy the antagonist knew (as a loser/outsider/weakling) the MC who liked/befriended him in the past and suddenly after the antagonist gained power through the MC, killed in bloodrage anyone who harmed him and then innocent bystanders as collateral damage. An to make it worse he also killed some loved ones of the MC; thus making their relationship very conflicted and messed up...
Do you really like this twist plot or that the villain wants to cause the MC tremendous pain for very incomprehensible overdramatic reasons?
I have to say that I can't comprehend the idea why a struggling MC with an already hard life has to be mainly responsible for creating a monster tyrant or a disaster....
And she/he has to be personally connected to the fucked up antagonistic asshole.
Ianna's story is mostly defined by chasing and becoming stronger for the ML Arhad.
And he has been chasing after her for a very long time like a stalker since they were gods.
Even though we see her slowly unleashing her hidden potentials on her own mostly, the ML is still kinda portrayed as more superior in status, power, intelligent, talent etc... despite of his current handicap.
Good for him getting more cute and supportive with her as an obsessive dark haired Tsundere.
She is probably the only female badass in her universe aside from the purble haired archmage Lalatua. Which is a shame. She is not like other girls Trope - Youtube.
Skeleton Soldier Coulnd't Protect The Dungeon + Kingdom of the Queen + Claymore have more real strong female characters.

Most of the stories I am drawn to are about female MCs who are not defined or underminded by an attractive shitty toxic ML who is either talented manchild, abusive bad boy or cruel fuck boy.
Take for instance, in the webtoon "Emperor And The Female Knight" our MC Pauliana is a very unfeminine strong survivor who has to face constantly sexism and bigotism.
You will admire her for how she manages to survives in a very hostile enviroment but at the end her life is defined/affected mainly by the blond emperor who saved her, admired her, gave her a position, fell in love with her and accidently got her pregnant when both were drunk. And just like Ianna still bound to conservative social norms by a patriarchal society...

My problem with "Villainess Reverses The Hourglass" is that we see the classic power dynamic between a FL and ML. FL's power is constantly underminded by the dark haired blue eyed superior ML who manhandled her first and then stalk her until she becomes soft.
I highly recommend Daisy - How to Become the Duke's Fiancée. The FL is a plain kind grounded girl who can be a smart assertive badass but still knows her limits. Not overpowered but she keeps learning and growing. Quite relatable strong person.
Like her more than Raeliana because she is not the already chosen heroine and doesn't get that easy intimidated by male characters.
Plot twist: Raeliana was the true chosen protagonist all along. I felt betrayed by that revealation since I thought I ve been investing my time in a relatable extra.
Daisy is intelligent and competent enough to be an equal to her dark haired ML who by the way is very respectful and sympathetic to her! It is a very functional mutual relationship between two pragmatic characters with the trope they unintentionally slowy fall in love with each other^^

I get what you mean but they both fight each other tho. Plus I think you may be comparing stories you adore to all kinds of other ones. It’s obvious you won’t be satisfied if you always compare your favorites to new ones. It’s clear that you don’t like this type of romance or story, but like those other 2 you mentioned before- so I think it’s best if you look for similar ones instead of ones you’d dislike.
They were more physical when they were kids in the academy, but as they grew older they became a little less overly violent, but still physical. Like when he punched her to the wall they were still teens, and she immediately knocked him hard back. When they reunited as adults you can tell their relationship is less all out play-ground war.
I think it may not be your cup of tea but Nunally is not at all bothered by getting rowdy, and it seems to be their mutual love language. They're not physical with anyone else.

When you discover the vaguely explained premise of a story, you get curious and start reading it. But you can't already know beforehand how bad the logic of the characters, storylines or how shitty the ML can be...
I am more comfortable with this premise than "It Looks Like I’ve Fallen into the World of a Reverse Harem Game".
The reason why the red haired MC is stuck in this game world to begin with is quite messed up and stupid. And I don't like the how the logic or magical rules works in this world.
