I'm at chapter 42, so 50% of the available chapters. I feel like i read a very longue prologue. Genuinely, there's a lot of repetition in this story
We seem to be restating what we started with, over and over again
This is a freakishly bad story to binge read, its so repetitive T.T

Honestly, I don't think it would have mattered. One, he viewed them all the same bc they low key were, and two, they still would have "killed" him just bc he's an assassin. Also, plot.

But he could have approached him and tried to understand who even made the request
