Honestly the story was good but I kind of wished she ended up with Takeru the older, divorced pastry chef. I think that the story of moving on and that your first love may not always be the one you end up with. I also think that Takeru’s story about finding love after the first marriage failed was a good idea, especially since divorce is not a subject that most Asian countries talk about.
I mean it’s fine that she ended up with Ryo. It did feel forced and rushed ending. Maybe that was the issue.
Also she was kind of submissive to all the guys and just letting herself be thrown into bed with any guy who wanted her. Not a lot of characters in this were likeable imo. I liked the store lady. She was cool

everyone in here is all objectively bad people. some are more deplorable than others but they do bad things and its so strange because I can't stop reading more. Regan is probably top tier bad because he's absolutely bonkers, a drug and sex addict along with being a huge alcoholic and a fucking dick. Ingrid isn't any better because she's manipulative with a creepy smile on her face. I see a lot of people sympathize with hector which I kind of do too because he's just a poor music teacher who just happened to fall in love with the "wrong person" and he gets smacked and threatened and scarred. but he also did get a girl pregnant and I'm not sure he knows that so I guess he gets a pass?
I can see the author is trying to make some resemblance of a tragic backstory for Regan and it's not to justify what he does but it kind of helps, I suppose.
