Is this story actually good? I’ve seen a ton of people posting about it, but they’re usually just thirsting after the guys. Never an actual discussion about the story. Is this smut with little plot, or decent plot with a side of eye candy?

I’m not the biggest fan of overpowered MCs, but I will say that I’m slightly annoyed that Authur spent YEARS training and he can’t even take on a low tier general. Sylvia spent all that time training and she can barely interfere. It just feels like an incredibly amount of time was wasted. Authur is the best hope they have and if that’s the case then I will say that the future isn’t looking too bright.
I’m one of those people who enjoy tragedy. Aqua not having a happy ending doesn’t even surprise me. Kid was way too emo to find personal joy in life. What is catching me off guard is Ruby’s ending. It’s just so MEANINGLESS. Honestly, what was the purpose for having a terminally ill child regress just to experience an even more shitty life? I look at regression stories as do overs. This is my first time experiencing one where the mc got to start over and the end results showed lil to no personal life improvement. I mean yeah she’s physically healthy, but is she mentally? How long can Ruby really last with her current mindset?I’m sorry, but you can’t convince me that this is what AI wanted for her. I’m sure she would have rather Ruby quit being an entertainer and find joy. I’m sure she would have preferred both of her kids leave the entertainment industry if she knew this would be the outcome.
I get you, the whole ending just felt a bit forgetful of ruby, like we’re missing one final arc. I feel like we needed to see more of a reaction than she cried a lot. she probably realised what her brother did, and if we had that instead of the redhead slapping aqua at the funeral it would have felt more fulfilling. Something like, “I’ll continue to lie, so everyone can experience true love”, wich would mirror ai’s character and would make sense for her since she would be giving back the love she always wanted. You could even acknowledge that she may never be able to truely love again because of everything that happened, but ultimately dicides to continue on and not end everything because of the sacrifices made for her. Instead we have “everyone was sad and so was ruby but she got better” like what?(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
