A very interesting minute details has been excluded. After karzen returns from the war,in the novel who shows him in bed with an another woman. Very interesting that they decided to exclude that. I feel the manhwa hasn't done justice with showing how miserable and suffocating raha's life is. How very action and word she says has to be calculated. Like the scene in the theater raha was on karzen lap and I think either he was kissing her neck or was trying to kiss her lips,ml then snatched her from karzen and we as readers are nervous about how karzen will retaliate. The scene where the sages come was so much more tense in the novel. In the manhwa ,these incidents just happen with no suspense or tension. I guess it makes sense since the manhwa can't include all the monologues raha has. I highly recommend that you read the novel instead.

Unfortunately it has only 120 chapters and i think there are total 145 chapters. Have no idea where to find the remaining. Only the translation is not the best.

Minato and aoi remind of taka and kotaro from gakuen babysitters club. Minatos attachment to Mr potato reminds me of taka and his toy sword. They both are clingy with their mama and brother respectively.Main difference is that Minato is way more well mannered than taka.Aoi is almost an AU version of kotaro. They both have spikey hair, they are quite, always have a blank expression and most importantly, they both love their older brothers.

I haven't read the novel but I've read spoilers. In the novel,it was actually a god that raped the empress.I think it was an evil god who i guess wanted to rule over humans and so when the empress visited a temple, he decided to make her bear his child since she's the ruler of the humans. It was really messed up since there were other people who were at the temple with the empress but were in awe/fear of seeing a god that they just watched as the god forced himself on the her. That's the reason for ludwig's power in the novel since he's essentially a demigod and it's also the reason why the empress didn't care for ludwig in the novel. So eventhough being victims of the entity wanting to possess their bodies is really sad, atleast it's much better than what happened in the novel(atleast for the empress). Since they've changed the expresses backstory,I really hope she gets a happy ending( i don't really know what happened to her in the novel).

Thanks! I especially felt the need to clarify that I haven't read the novel was coz I sought out spoilers mostly to check how angsty the story would be(i have a low angst tolerance) and I didn't do a complete deep dive into the spoilers. So there's probably a lot of info which is missing or misconstrued and that they should take my info with a grain of salt. Maybe I shouldn't be posting spoilers but as a person who's obsessed with reading spoilers,I was surprised with the lack of novel readers commenting spoilers. That's why I posted this so spoiler fiends like me can get their fix and also hoping that some novel readers might engage with my comment with more info or even corrections coz I think it's really interesting that the manhwa has pivoted so much from the source material.

As hot this is,I really feel it's about time they show her and her ex's relationship. One thing tears of a withered flower did really well is that it did a good job establishing how beautiful the fl and her ex husband's relationship used to be. So we as readers genuinely feel sad for what has become of their relationship. We understand why she's struggling to move on and why despite being attracted to the ml, she won't pursue a relationship with him. But here, every instance we've seen of her ex,he just seems like a jerk. So it's hard to understand why is she still hung up on him after so long. Its one thing if it was just that she developed abandonment issues or trust issues, it's another thing to have not even moved on from her ex even after years and for him to still have so much emotional sway over her after all this while. Personally ,I feel that he either better have been the most exceptional boyfriend or that he must have emotionally manipulated her like crazy or he must have been with her through a very difficult time of her life in order to make her this attached to him .

If I remember correctly Eungyu was a TA or assistant to the ML bio dad and since the bio dad was cruel and stern the ex offered her emotional support and nurtured her when she was going through a rough time professionally
From the flashbacks it seems like he was overtly sweet too playing up the fox boyfriend act so I think she also relied on him emotionally so when the connection was cut she lost the self reliance she always insisted on in college.

I always felt that there was something inconsistent with the ml's character writing, like the ludwig before the timeskip is completely different from the ludwig after the timeskip,so i decided to check the novel out.I haven't really read the novel but from I've gathered, the ml's personality is completely different. In the novel,he's actually a psychopath who loves killing and did horrible things to get his hands on fl. Most of the novel readers hate him. Also unlike the mahwa version,he never feels any remorse for the things he's done and in his 2nd lifetime,he still kills innocent ppl,he just makes sure that fl doesnt find out about it. In the manhwa, he's just a puppet to the entity in his body and is an idiot in love. So im guessing that initially they were going to stick to the novel version but maybe later decided that everyone will hate the ml,so they changed his character. I prefer the change,i feel the current ludwig has so much more personality to him and you dont really see many mls with his personality.Honestly you can't even say he's been whitewashed coz the both are 2 different characters. Also I think it would have been interesting if they stuck with ludwigs original personality but instead made him feel remorse and try to genuinely become a better person.
I've actually read doujins of this manhwa and decided I want to read the original,so I'm confused why everyone seems to hate nathan? In the doujins,he seemed loving but the comments here seem to imply that he's a red flag. So please spoil me coz I can't stand red flag ml's and have a very low angst tolerance.
Ngl ...it's been so long that I can't remember well
But Nathan and Andrew were on some kind of relationship after they know each other on the plane...the "problem" was that Andrew is a "virgen" and never said anything cause was afraid of Nathan ending things if he discovered that...they do other staffs and when finally N knows everything he's gets angry with A for all the lies and "break up" with him saying he should do the things his own pace and shouldn't feel pressure to do things "for him" (actually a good advice!!) and something like he cannot be so dependent or something like that (again...a good advice!) and after A was following around uni he asked him to move on and forgets him
