The author didn’t really show too much of their relationship early on but just the fact that he’d get so pissed and dumb her over having sex toys and take it so personally and just think about himself already tells me that there’s so much more wrong. He didn’t understand or treat her well at all in the beginning of the story. He was really great after so her being worried seemed so out of no where but from the way the beginning was written he did have much to improve on outside sex.
