Dude. This isn’t about self preservation. The guy was programmed to raise and look after children, which we see he has done well. But his programming does not include sex or Knowsley on what is considered assault or rape- he’s basically like a child in that regards, too naive to know any better because his programmers never gave him the right information or tools to deal with these situations. I’m not going to blame a child when they follow a strange man to his car because he said he had candy- it’s not about self preservation, it about the fact that that child had no understanding that it’s dangerous, they were never taught that. It’s the same thing in this situation, how do you expect him to fight back in a situation where he just doesn’t really understand what’s going on. He doesn’t even really realise it’s rape. I don’t feel sorry for Ivan. Sure he shouldn’t be raped but that’s not stopping it from happening so I’m not gonna put my feelings into feeling sorry for him in any way, he’ll continue to get raped and I’ll continue to not care until the author gives me something to care about
