Idk I feel like Jian Yi and Zheng Xi haven’t received the same romantic development as Mo and He Tian.
We seen (though censored) Mo and He Tian kiss in an unambiguously romantic fashion twice now. They also have moments of physical intimacy that whilst tame is also hard to see any other way other that romantic.
Jian Yi and Zheng Xi haven’t kissed since the apartment rainstorm scene….which didn’t end well. Anytime they are together they’re relationship is played for jokes. Jian Yi is still obviously swayed by and tries to intimate physical intimacy but it always devolves into some slap stick which is fun and all but it’d be nice to see their love shown physically even if censored.
The love representation between the couple is highly imbalanced and considering what we get from MoTian I don’t think it’s accurate to blame censorship for JianXi.
I don’t think there’s any doubt Mo Tian have a romantic relationship it’s rocky and strained at times but they’ve been shown to be physically attracted to each other. Mo even had a wetdream a while ago.
Closest comparison for JianXi is when Zheng flashed Jian Yi in over the phone but it was ambiguous whether he knew he did.

tbh in my view maybe because Jiang Yi and Zheng Xi are a childhood friends making them feel awkward if they express their love physically. After all Jiang Yi was the one who fell in love first while Zheng Xi feeling is still uncertain. I want them to talk it out so much, JianXi is a slowburn while TianShan is already at a fast pace

But that's just how jian yi and zzs are and how their relationship works. Remember they talked and zzs was saying that he would mantain jian yi in the future, he thought he meant it as a joke but he was serious about it. Of course I'd love to see more romantic intimacy but this is how they are, I think. Them being childhood friends also plays a big part on how their way of showing love and affection is different to momo and he tian

I’m not saying they should suddenly stop being as silly and crazy as they’ve always been but for a reader to buy into the idea the Jian Yi and ZhengXi are romantically linked. Physical intimacy that is earnest and mutual would go along way.
Right now for the most part they act as platonic soulmates, brother by choice, bffs. I don’t ever really get boyfriend vibes from them.
ZhengXi to me reads as loving Jian Yi platonically and linked to hmm in a deep but unromantic fashion. He doesn’t ever feel IN love with Jian Yi more like he feels responsible for him.

I have to disagree here because you need to know that there are different kinds of love. I know they're 2D characters so I don't want to even seem like I'm getting angry or trying to pick a fight ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ
but, like you said, that's the vibe that gives you, but trust, but it's not really that. So while I think their love is a little out of the ordinary that you could imagine as a romantic couple, I do feel both guys feel genuine romantic feelings towards each other. The problem is that recently this relationship doesn't move forward. The author is certain that they're also a couple, but in their own way. It's true that she does nothing to make their relationship develop in the romantic sense or just develop in itself, every chapter about them is a jian yi doing something silly, messing it up, zhan zheng xi putting up with him, just like you said "because he feels like he has to" but idk maybe I live in a kind of mandela effect, because I don't remember their story and relationship being like this, so bland and so downplayed by jokes.
Don't ask me why old xian decides to do this cause idk I guess that must be just her preference.

I agree, every type of love is different and everyone shows it differently. I think theirs is unique, even though we didn't get "physical" it doesn't mean they don't like each other, and seeing xixi personality, I think he isn't touchy to begin with, with anyone, if he was with someone else, not with Jian Yi for example, I honestly don't see him being touchy or leaning towards the physical side quickly, I see the perspective of what the user eldraco said "He doesn’t ever feel IN love with Jian Yi more like he feels responsible for him." I did think of that and sensed that at some point, but then again, I thought that's how xi's personality is, he is considerate and caring and through that he shows his love.
They don't have to be like the other couple, just because the other couple is touchy, Mo is not even touchy lol He Tian is the only one who is, every time He Tian touches Mo, Mo shoves his hand away or flinches or something, and when Mo finally, for the first time ever was the initiator, when he gave He tian a proper kiss, he rarely initiaties!! He Tian is mostly the initiator. I would say He Tian and Jain Yi are the touchy ones and Xi and Mo aren't. they always need a push or something. anyhow, I think it's good the author made each one different, to show that love can be conveyed in multiple ways, not necessarily the standard one we always see.
They all suck hard and should’ve died but my favorite by far was Chan. To me he at least treated Yugeon like a person between the crazy ritualistic gangrapes. Idk this whole story is kinda falling flat trying to wrap things up with a cute bow.
The men treat Yugeon like a sex slave for like 70 chapters and now we just supposed to laugh and be merry?
I'm more so frustrated with the MC. Yeah the guys are all complete trash, and we have known that from the beginning. I'm upset that the MC never grew any self-respect. I would feel much better about this "happy ending" had the MC actually gone through character development instead of being a doormat from beginning to end. It's unsatisfying.
Im really confused about the positive comments, this wtf shouldn't have ended with silly scenes of them like this feels like one of those angst coping videos on TikTok. "Together we are the espers of erewhon" ass
