I'm so uncomfortable and scared of how much it feels like she's being manipulated, gaslighted, and her actual real life and memories being erased. Comic horror god, please stop ┗( T﹏T )┛

The background sfx and cute aesthetic throws me off lmao like it’s some college boy romance
Also it seemed like her life in the previous was mundane and banal like from her memories she didn’t really have anyone special or a fulfilling job.. I feel like they met through work and since she hates her job she may have been gung ho about it so maybe that’s how they met it lol

I was giving ahjussi an excuse, that he must have strong affection and guilt. Then he scanned and inspected Yeongwoon's adult body (stairs, resto, samgyup place, etc) and I knew damn well that's sexual desire. So I thought, well they only had about 4-year gap—WRONG; I just reread the whole thing and they have a 9-year gap. Ahjussi was 24, in his mid-20s, when Yeongwoon was 15 in middle school and they were together for 10 years. Disgusthang, I don't want that dynamic at all. Would have been okay if he wasn't literally a brother figure in that 10 years.
I still would like to defend him though: seeing child Yeongwoon's battered body like that; if you noticed since the beginning, he has a keen eye which is very important in his job. He knew right away that Yeongwoon was being abused by his father, he observes and that's that. I sincerely believe he just looked at child Yeongwoon, felt pity and guilt (aside from the affection building), but couldn't make a reason to help him beyond what he was already doing (giving Yeongwoon pocket money, visiting and checking in on him) because he's supposed to be the debtor. That was why he had so much hesitation to hold Yeongwoon's hand and offer anymore help. The romantic and sexual affection were not present.

I'm so heartbroken. I keep thinking, instead of waiting separately, they should have used that 1 month to stay as close as possible and make up for the time and mess they did. They should've forgiven and loved each other harder. There's not a world where what they did deserved this pain. They never truly hurt anyone but themselves. They have every right to live happily and peacefully. This is just so cruel. Not even a good bye.
I'm so entertained and I love every bit of this arc. Husband support group who love and want nothing but the best for their wife. It's like one big family already. And thank you so much for Emiliano, I knew why Ines picked her even if she regretted it in her next life, he was sensible, smart, sympathetic, and kind, good, and ultimately loving—I'm so glad he knocked some sense into Carcel. You're Ines' best bet in life, why would you break her heart again??
