So what I'm hearing is Haeda was not part of the atrocity at this point. I really need a How To Hate Mate twist of plot here. That manhwa really tortured the original male lead until the additional season. Lmao. Eunhyuk deserves that.

In my mind, Dohwa and Sooae met again after so long jusst like they did now. Eunhyuk comes in again like he did now but Sooae finally gets her long overdue apology and she gets to close that chapter of her life. Eunhyuk will be emotionally broken for a while. Sooae will slowly build her broken friendship with Dohwa and they stay like that for at least a year until she forms romantic intentions and emotions for him. Then they date and she becomes a non-showbiz girlfriend to our proud celebrity Dohwa. They go on dates and we get a cliche "celebrity who's head-over-heels to his office work girlfriend that he had a big crush on in highschool, so they are childhood friends to lovers" scandals. After a few years, Dohwa will reveal that they are planning to marry and they will. Eunhyuk will attend as he already spent the last 4 years regretting his shitty mistakes and moving on. And in the end, we get a polaroid of Dohwa and Sooae as a married couple, next to their highschool photobooth photos. The end.

Can't believe there are people who are defending what Eunhyuk put Sooae through because of what he was dealing with. If he was so damaged and struggling, he should have left her to Dohwa instead. He knew Dohwa liked her. He sealed the relationship only to do that over minor miscommunication and inconveniences. Even if there are additional context, nothing can ever absolve him of what he planted in her mind. 10 years is no joke, and Sooae was struggling to find out she was unloved and unwanted by everyone. So him not even giving her a chance to beg him or even say goodbye really hit the nail on the head. She couldn't form romantic relationships for 10 years.

The least he could do is act apologetic, careful, and even refuse to work with her since in their current power dynamic, he has the upper hand. He has none of that. He even thinks he can just sweep her off her foot again, with the way he's acting, lurking and lingering like some goddamn yearner. He's sick for that.

My god, Sooae and Dohwa are just too pitiful. They really suit each other but the manhwa god keeps on refusing that. If that was the case, Dohwa should be removed from the equation. I still want them to recover their friendship but Dohwa couldn't give up on his feelings so I guess there was never mutual friendship to begin with. I'm just rambling, I just want Sooae and Dohwa to heal already. Especially Sooae. It's too unfair that she's being beaten up since the manhwa started. Give her to me!!!!

Also, these backstories gave us a glimpse on how Haesoo was able to endure Minshit's abused for more than a decade. She was holding on to the first kindness and love she knew, she was justifying everything using the good memories. It's a typical cycle for abused people. Just like Minshit took her away from her abusive sperm donor, Taeha is now doing the same against Minshit.

Now, I wonder how this will end. Is this gonna end with Taeha stopping the cycle? Will Haesoo stop it herself finally? Or is someone else going to swoop her in again? I'd rather it the 2nd option, really.
