Honestly, I judge it from the title, does she, as a villainess, wants to be the heroine ? Is that the story ? I have it on my reading list but I still haven't started .... Can someone give me his honest opinion on it please ?
not at all, although it has a noble setting it isn't even close to the villainess/isekai schtick and a completely different story. It's both written and illustrated very well and has multiple complex characters and meaningful character relationships.
The story is god tier lol. Every character is really interesting and complex and the political struggles for power are super smart and will keep you on edge. I would give it a 10/10; it's definitely my favorite webtoon rn. Also while there's 2 female mcs, the "villainess" is the protagonist and while I love her, it's undeniable that she's kind of a bad person. If you're not a fan of having that kind of character as the protag I thus wouldn't recommend it. BTW It's not that she wants to be the heroine, it's more that she wants the power and influence the heroine has as empress-to-be/the crown prince's fiance, esp considering that position should've been hers.
No nothing annoying like that. At first I was reluctant because from the title I thought the MC was jealous of the heroine, and that she loved the prince so she wanted to be her, but that's not the case at all. It's much more complex than that and if you love characters like Aria and Roxanna (who managed to retain their evilness) you will love this one too

MC is dumb and doesn't take responsabily for her actions. I don't especially expect a flawless MC with a big brain, but she doesn't even have the minimum IQ. She knows everything about the novel, and yet, she doesn't even think of a way to avoid certain things. She couldn't even "bid them farewell".
Her fiancé, the duke, hates her but oh, suddenly she wants to break off the contract he was forget into, he doesn't want to. And apart from saying no, and confessing after 2 weeks (where she told him to break off their engagement), he doesn't look for her and keeps following the princess around and looking at her from afar (if he ever looks). Furthermore, the MC doesn't even talk to her father about the engagement, she is just waiting for the duke to day yes, like are you even trying to break it girl !?
The princess .... The princess .... Ahlala. Her personality is not even something new on the reincarnation/isekai manhuas. She is the innocent, good looking princess that everyone is mean towards while she is good and falls in love with the one guy who treats her normally and is the fiancé of the villainess.
To make it even worse, this princess knew the MC before meeting the Duke, and yet she felt in love with him knowing he is her friend's fiancé. Furthermore, she gives in to rumors (as we see in this chapter 51). Worst girl.
Breftu summarize, this story doesn't really worth reading and waiting for. I held in for over 50 chapters and that's where my patience stops. Good luck for everyone wishing to finish it or thinking of starting it.
