The ML will ask the MC to call his insurance (which he will do to fix the car HE BROKE) and while waiting for insurance to come, they will both go up in the MC's apartment.
ML will act like he didn't know it's his anniversary and they will both share the cake until the electricity will be cut and both will be in the dark. ML will then ask the MC to come live with him until they fix the electricity (which won't be fixed until the storm pass which means 3 days) in his apartment, and after some hesitation, he will say yes.

MC is very awkward at first there, but ML is being super nice to him. MC will catch a cold and stay in bed, because he went out earlier without a jacket, and ML will take care of him.
I forgot to say it, but ML's apartment is very big, and the MC has his own room so the ML is being respectful and doesn't try to include himself forcibly in his space.

Fast forward with some events because after 3 days MC went back to his apart and ML is regretting once again not being Andrew (ML is being nice to MC in the laboratory, helping him, etc...) The big thing finally happened.

The end if the year is getting close, and it means that the MC will leave for China soon. He also received an offer from one of his older teacher (the one who recommended him). But he hesitates because of Andrew. The issue is that he doesn't have any relationship with Andrew and if he leaves, it will mean yes. He decides then, that it's take to make a move, and he took plane tickets for Seattle (if I remember the good city) and tells Andrew that he is coming.
ML on his side is panicking and after some thoughts, he decides to say yes to meet MC in Seattle, booked tickets and a hotel room. He gave the hotel's room address and number to MC and said he will be waiting for him there.


Fast forward again, MC is in Seattle and ready to meet Andrew. He is happy and anxious, he thinks that maybe if Andrew doesn't like him as lover, they will remain friends, and with hope he opens the door to the room .... But it's all black. He wants to turn the lights on, but Andrew says "no ... Not yes". They got close to each others and after some talking, they finally kiss and almost had sex but ML stopped MC and turned the light on.
MC is disgusted obviously thinking he wanted to make fun of him and run away. At the same time there is storm in Seattle, and MC doesn't have money left since he used the last amount of money he had left to come meet Andrew.

ML follows him, apologized, but MC was super angry and disappointed. He felt dirty for falling for Andrew.
ML says that he booked another room where he can stay if he doesn't want to talk to him, MC accepted the room (he couldn't sleep outside with the storm but he thought of it).

Since then they didn't talk at all, both went back to their city for their last day in the laboratory, MC accepted the reached proposition and by the end of year, after they exams, he started packing to go back home.
During all this time, ML was trying to apologise, but since MC refused to talk to him and blocked his number, he accepted his decision. He kept doing one thing tho, walking MC from home to school early in the morning and back from school to home in the night (because he remembered MC saying be was scared one time ago because of him)

After months of doing so, and one day before he finally leaves, MC decides to talk this shit out, and both sat. MC decided that he will give ML a 2nd chance but it will be him who will decide that their relationship will be and if they should keep going or stop. Basically, it's the MC that will decide everything and whatever he decides, ML have to accept it (which he does btw)

MC goes back to his city, and surrounded by his family and friends, he starts to feeling better. He kept also kept his calls with ML and this time no lies no hiding things.

Fast forward again where you feel bad for ML but know that MC isn't wrong on his decisions and choices and where ML finally meet the guy who at begining said that MC stole his place in the laboratory and punched him, MC asks ML to come to his city to meet him.
ASAP, ML Book a ticket and joins him. they talk the situation again, and officially starts going out.

I almost thought they will never end up together because MC was hurt, but the fact that he went back to an environment that was good for both his physical and mental health helped him.
