Im glad he mentioned that because, I’ve always dislike it when characters donate gold or just any large sum of money to beggars in these stories, cause more often then not there’s some kind of hierarchy a play in the slums meaning the child they give that money to would either get beaten and robbed, or forced to give it away....
Helping the child find work or even just giving them food are much better then the ignorant kindness that brings more harm then good.
