idk I think she really is his daughter but he forgot about his mother due to some circumstances and maybe the necklace would help

I feel like he probably forgot about his daughter and her mother because of memory loss that someone purposely planned. But I also wonder why the abusive duke knew about her and if he knew prior to the adoption about the girl's mum and bloodline.

Well the abusive prick hates the dad, so maybe that hate stems from the fact the dad was the one who got the mother’s love???

While the dad was recuperating from memory loss the mother had to run away to avoid being caught by the duke, and she was probably early on in her pregnancy when she fled, early enough for her to still be able to escape, but late enough for the abusive wet sock to be able to realise she’s pregnant. Or he could’ve bribed the doctor that confirmed she was pregnant.

She might have went into hiding, had the child, left our mc at the orphanage, then continued to run to throw him off her trail, only to get caught by the abusive prick (I’m not sure as to what he would do to her though)

In one way or another she dies leaving the abusive mouldy apple to desperately search for her only surviving legacy, her child.

My question is how did they get a whole kingdom to forget the mother’s existence??? Cause it’s not only the dad that doesn’t remember her, everyone at their mansion, people that might have been friends with the mother, the kings castle wouldn’t have forgotten such a prominent member of such a powerful family.

And why is it that only the abusive prick remembers?

Most Reverse Harem's Ive seen the fl always turns down or lets the other mls know that she has certain feelings for this ml but with harems the ml always leads the other fls while being in a RELATIONSHIP with one fl.

I find that mangas with harems, in all of them the girls don’t have any personality other then the “I don’t mind being in a harem” personality trait.
They have no goals.
No overwhelming passions.
Nothing they disagree with the male lead about.
No opinions.
They exist purely to make the male lead look good,
They exist to make the male lead feel good,
Their existence relies purely on being known as the male leads woman.

And if I ever comment about this on one of those mangas I get a stupid comment like “You should’ve read the tags”
I don’t have a problem with harems I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A FEMALE CHARACTERS ONLY WORTH BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MALE LEAD, AND A WOMANS FEELINGS BEING LESS THEN A MANS LUST.

and then I get the comment “don’t read it then” those people failing to realise that this kind of stuff can effect peoples views, impressionable teens might be reading.
I grew up reading mangas and in my 8 years seen all that there is to see.
I was 11 when I started reading, and when an 11 year old girl reads that a women’s only worth is to be with a man, to agree with a man, it can affect people.

I'm so agree...with ya.. I think that's manhua most likely . But this one is not like this she has a strong personality and also there's more where is the fl is strong. You should read them.

I TOTALLY get you. I have some friends that love harem mangas and I just CAN'T.

The female characters are always the same ones with different styles of drawings, names and colours or a combination of them but it's always:
The loli who is not always that young.
The naive girl who is rescued somehow (physically or psychologically)
The dense girl (who is almost always the FL)
Miss big tits
The pervert
The one who loves to serve the MC.
The tsundere

I JUST CAN'T WITH THEM. They don't have anything in their brains except being merchandise and ""waifu"" material?? And the male character is always so dense and stupid and "Oh, this girl is basically flirting with me openly and telling me how she loves me. She's such a good friend, I have low self-esteem, I like you too my female friend who likes me as a friend" while being "I love this other dense girl who will not be in love with me 'til the end or that already loves me but doesn't know it hehe"

I can't. I just can't. At least with reverse harem, the characters may have some resemblance among the series (hello, thousands of blonde-haired bastards) but THEY HAVE SOME BACKGROUND?? like they explain why they are the reason they are, and the girl tells them "HEY, I DON'T LOVE YOU. OR I'M ALREADY ENGAGED TO ANOTHER MAN. GIVE UP, BOY. FIND YOURSELF A NEW WOMAN" unless the girl is dense and in that case is the boy who thinks "hey, she doesn't love me and loves the silverhaired/blonde guy, well, I'll support her love because I care about her."

It's like totally different in the treatment of the other possible partners?

ahhh now I found the reason why I hate harem but not reverse harem. I don't get why ppl love harem and there's a lot of anime/manga/manhua for harem too. and I totally agreed with all of you . sigh I thought I was the only one who's avoid harem smh

That may be a minor spoiler... But it’s a spoiler I don’t mind seeing! Glad to hear it wasn’t a creepy marriage. I mean, I wouldn’t have been surprised if the groom was a preteen or a young teens - as that was also normal back then (and admittedly less creepy)... But a lord-in-waiting is the best idea we could hope for.
