One thing I like about this story, is Geenie's attachment to her first family. I feel sorry for her current one, but it gives her character depth and it feels realistic. Even if I got yeeted into a supercool magical world, I'd miss my friends and family so much. And smartphones, rock music, vibrators...
Still hope she can connect to them later though. I'm really curious about her siblings too.

Am I the only one happy to see Ibelin? I would have been so disappointed if she turned out to just be a dense, cute girl. I'm not usually for female rivalry (especially not for men) I prefer friendship, but I just love that sinister undertone!! And how they turned a typical romance character into an antagonist (≧∀≦) gimme that draaaama

Curious how the queen dowager could raise such a disgusting man like the king? I mean she's not the typical cutie grandma, but she seems sane. Obviously even really good parents can get grazy kids, but usually there's some kind of reason. Was the former king a nutjob maybe?

I'm sorry if this will offended you.
Actually the Queen dowager want Amelia's mother to be her daughter in-law, but she refuse and married the duke, then the king choose to marry her beloved from the viscount (if i'm not remembering?) and the noble faction with the leader is the marquis of the family of the second queen now, tried to married the second queen to the king with their reasoning, cause the first queen is too low in social standing and status then of Marquis.

Right now I can't sympathize with Hue. He has monopolized her and attempted to isolate her from friends as well as other potential love interests. He won't let her leave him and he basically holds all the power in the relationship. What does he expect from her? That she should say she loves him when he has explicitly expressed he does not want that? He says "she's mine" and now he says "I can't return feelings of love" DUDE.
She loses her temper once, for very understandable reasons and now he ignores her. It sounds to me like he really only wants an obedient doll for a wife. If the butler hadn't called him out I might have dropped this. I like the story, and the other characters, but I don't like him. And yes, I know he has some awful trauma, but do does Lucia! It doesn't excuse his behavior.

Well, he says that he hates having a "doll wife" but his actions says otherwise. If he didn't want a doll wife, he wouldn't ignore and avoid her after she has shown anger or frustration. The talk about him wanting her to "open up her heart" rings false to me if he can't even handle that much.
And he acting hurt at her saying they don't live each other is also unreasonable. Like ofc he doesn't like to hear that, he can feel hurt, but he must understand he can't expect her to love him first when they have literally made a contract that says she can't? He just can't be angry about that. He himself has said nothing about his feelings. He can just kick her out if he doesn't think she fulfills her role as as a wife, but what can she do? Their relationship is not equal, so he can't expect much from her.

I think the feeling I got from the novel is he has a hard time understanding that his feelings are love because he doesn't consider himself human. He doesn't ever feel love, or joy, or happiness, so it's all very unsettling to him. He's never not been in control so he's scared. Scared that she will leave and he will lose the only thing that has ever made him happy.
But he did make me want to shake him a few times, with the whole wanting her to confess first.
... Spoiler if it makes you feel better, when they are all good she runs him. She gets more confident and he is just whipped.

On one hand, I know heartbreak, depression and toxic relationships really can fuck you up, and I appreciate the fact that she didn't blame Hari for her boyfriend's behavior (although she pressured her into a relationship).
But I still think she's spoiled and selfish. Emotionally, I just hate her and I thought what Hajoon said was fair (I loved it).
She has friends and family that love her so much and she has resources needed to go to a therapist. But she's passive and extremely self-centered. Her tendency to only see what she wants to see is also the reason she got in this mess in the first place. She's completely unable to handle hardships.
I really hope she goes through some character development and becomes a better person.

True, at least she stopped with manipulating others to make them see what she sees. Even though no one luckily fell for that.
I also loved how Hajoon told her straightforwardly what no one would tell her but thought.
I can blatantly say that I really dislike her, too. I haven't seen much of the raws but I think what I remember is that it takes her a long time, several chapters to overcome this all. It's alright that she needs her time to recover but I wished the webtoon could rather focus on something else meanwhile while she is in the process of recovering in the back. And maybe then she comes out a new person again as a surprise or something..?
Her personality, all the misunderstandings
