Some authors excel at making the extraordinary seem ordinary. Mari Ozawa belongs to the other kind; ones who shine at making the ordinary appear extraordinary. The characters live mundane lives that is at turns warm, selfless and sweet with lingering touches of heartache. . . . . . . . . . . Six chapters in and I just wanted Akira to come back to life. (ノД`)・゜・。

◆ [ 45 ] A fine adaptation. This is a whole lot more entertaining and amusing than I originally gave it credit for. I'm giving the artist, Akikaze-sensei, two thumbs up for the great job she's done so far.

So much nostalgia... As a kid, I was a fan of both Kurama and Hiei. Years have passed, I have read and watched the series a few times, yet I still find myself cheering for those same two. I guess some things never change. ( ´ｖ｀)

❦︎46 Yesh gurl, smash it.. We're halfway there (raws are completed at around 80 chaps) but it's been over a year since the last update... Is no one willing to pick this up? I'd be really grateful .

First 8 chapters: ( ಥ_ʖಥ ) "My Blissful Marriage".... Judging from the title alone, one would easily think it's a slice-of-life with a tinge of drama... or perhaps, some sort of comedy SOL the likes of 'Barakamon' and 'Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge'. Or it could even be something like 'Spy X Family'. But nah, this manga has supernatural facets which are central to the story, mysteries to unveil and there is much scheming afoot. More than anything, however, this is a story of two strangers brought together by their own familial circumstances.

Bitter, comic and heartwarming. I find both mother and son a very cool duo.... It's interesting to note that while there's much nudity and sex scenes drawn in this manga, it is never erotic. That somehow makes you focus all the more in the characters' struggles, both physical and emotional.

Rereading this, I feel like a kid again waiting for the anime reruns. (￣∇￣)

So on point it's funny. Made me wish for at least this much progress between Skip Beat's two leads. (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`)
