55. - variation on rpg character : endure ore skip the beginning, it’s getting way better stuck in the npc by mistake, the mc is soon to be hired to fix bugs as i read in a comment, it’s unbearable for 10 chapter, hen it picks on, get more and more interesting (more game like around 20, grow a plot after 40 , and becomes quite unique around 50 Let’s hope for the best and for a good plot : it’s just starting now !

3 - so much in 3 c ! It’s fun and refreshingly different, i like the open secret between the main characters I love the spunky ghost, and the bizarre relationship of our 3 people :) Let’s hope it keep up with that incredible beginning !

15 - mostly non violent MC with great ability to listen and a good heart So far a bit light , but wait and see

32 - that’s plenty mysterious and rather intense, the MC is interesting, she’s not a prude, and she’s smart. Yet, not a super hero - we can relate to her

59 - slow to start, but interesting concept The pace is good some of the ridiculous bits leava place to a rather interesting plot Beware the light hearted comedy seems to turn into a sum of past tragedy - it doesn’t feel tragic so far, but it’s not so light either So far we met 4 « target », each of them has 4 stages of conquest … this is bound to be long - it also has high risk of turning really complicated Spoilers : It wouseem an ancient goddess fumbled and then later chose to die to follow her beloved and be reborn with him< But the broken goddess fotgot about her love and her oath of eternity - every life brought her to a new disastrous relationship … and led her soul to dissipate 100 rebirth later, a frail common girl is bount to repair the misdeeds - « conquer » her 99 broken oath past lovers to save herself and … finally honor her word and heart by realizing hervtrue love? So far it’s hard to know if it’s a « love game «  or if she’s supposed to honor her broken word to each man to f « free them » ? There’s also a possibility that all are bound to her true love a way or another Lots of interesting questions but verrry long story ahead

142 4.5, became better and better It felt a bit like after «  Alan Moore’s « Guardians » in many ways , it’s also a story about vigilantes, but in here there are god like opponents for real - it would disappoint Ozymandias to see humans don’t only make alliances, but keep fighting for power - There’s an interesting debate about surviving as a slave, or fighting to the end Lastly it’s again like a D&D compendium, magic has the same type of rank (?) spells (magic missiles, ice/ flame arrow, etc.) and you’ll find very familiar creatures : the nice part, is that the common enemy does bring Litch, orc, elves pf all types, manimals, etc together - and that’s pretty cool Comment from 6x chapters - i love the highly moral main character which is pretty rare these day Maybe because it’s unfashionable, or for comic relief (?) the same MC is also plagued with ridiculous side trait - he behaves like a horny milf hungry teen, he eats like a pig… it’s borderline heavy at time, but as the story progress it seems to be less (confirmed! But there are some vague harem vibes here and there, really not much often, but most his companions end up being strong females) The pace is ok, but somewhat jumpy, like maybe the flow of the story is not too good, but that also falls into place after 6x chapters. - partly because of these humorous bits? And maybe because the 4000 years of age of the MC brings some unbalance ? (He’s not equal in lots of hard to imagine or define manner ? ) I like the MC morality, the fact that he’s very approchable, the story migh get really interesting I like it, but yet, i don’t really feel it - i felt his loss when he discovered the gifts of his old friend, but, mostly how he feels and his drive are vocal, yet not something that reaches my heart and soul - it’s rather on the cold side - - maybe it’s just the manwha, and i n any case, it’s interesting and worth reading - but it lacks a bit of authenticity Oh - the fact that the art change so much when lucas becomes frey , is seriously disturbing - a meek boy suddenly look like a 8 pack boby builder - and poor frey totally vanished - addition from 6x to 14x : the content and the pace definitely pick up, lots of the mysteries about the demi god unraveled and it’s pretty good. 79 - 4.5 - variation on the trapped in a game world plot - the universe ise pretty original and the condition of the earthian is really interesting - our MC is very unperfect, he has serious limitations besides being op- his team is interesting too, and all the cast have intrinsic value, they do things the MC is incapable of - his reactions are those of your average joe, he’s not a hero, he’s scared of many things without it being ridiculous, yet he’s humane he has ok values that grows with good encounters, so there’s quite a bit of character development :) the story has a very humorous start and keep really fun part, but soon some deeper plot with some dark and sad bits makes for an interesting read that manages to never go over the top and keep balance in the storytelling, never getting to angsty, but keeping you on your toes, with a great pace Definitely a great read https://www.novelupdates.com/series/survival-story-of-a-sword-king/

49 - good blade story, not too dark so far, great cast

56 - 4+ - pretty good, the double world is fun, the murim story is good, dark, but not overbearing There’s a bunch of typical yet great characters So the only downside would be the MC, he’s absolutely cowardly despite being a hunter for years - the explanation to that is both a bit late and light and could have been better exploited As we reach 50+ chapters, he seems to overgrow a bit of his fear and selfishness, which is good So let’s hope it keeps the good pace, and the plot to that level !
