46 - 4.5 - the longuest prologue(ever) of a cross world (game ? ) story - from horror game to med fan, a loser build up to become a hero - It’s well written, the characters are interesting, the pace is excellent Let’s wait for the introduction then ? Or maybe read the novel … like … now ? 14 - heavy - the first chapter border unbearable and the following are rather evil too It’s hard to believe a kid who’s scared both physically and mentally would be so bullied - it really is dreadful to see small kids, adults and later teens being bullies, going after a blind boy - to me it feels like a major plot hole … No that we know some people are hunting the black violent being inside the boy, I’m rather sad, the boy is nice, kind and really deserves some good and happy , but it doesn’t look to promising There seems to be a good plot going on (but it’s obviously dark) So maybe I’ll wait for the end to see if good karma also has its say - there’s a bunch of nice characters growing around the MC, so not all hope is lost ?

51 - 4.5 - if it was a zombie story, your think you’ve already seen it all The difference is that the humans are not zombified, instead, they are reduce to 50% of their size It does make enough difference to change the dynamic of the obstacles - in the same manner, the fact that all characters are granted one or more power from the start is providing interesting dynamics Lastly it a « game » setting « , with a superior being managing the hecatomb with new set of rules every now and as it’s obviously an adversary, it rewards humans killing each other’s (not great) - it’s still a mystery to ascertain if it might reward high survival numbers The characters are interesting th MC is a good guy, and his surrounding is nice : for a starter the fact that a granny a kid or a mum might become part of his team is really different and interesting The vision of a future can also be a very good narrative tool and is well used so far So while dark by nature, it’s still a very good read, so far now so angsty that it would be unbearable Good balance, good pace interesting and original, it’s a very nice surprise :)

39 - 4.5 - super cute cat happens to be a shapeshifter, he becomes the friend of a half blood princess There are legends, and power struggle awaiting, but the beginning is all fluff and filled with mew pawa It has a good pace, most characters are interesting , it’s also nice that the world is a bit original (big cats vs humans) The MC is rather interesting too, she’s brave, yet sometimes scared, kind but not naive So while not anything exceptional so far, it entertaining and relaxing to read in the feel good category :) https://www.novelupdates.com/series/i-raised-the-beast-well/ https://woopread.com/series/i-raised-the-beast-well/chapter-54/

49 - promising but seems to turn into weak story of petty fights out of revenge or rivalry ? Honestly the rude old granny part did put me of a bit, but it’s not excessive so far, it’s a bit slow and it seems that influence is moderate enough and smart in good places The MC is spunky and determined when she’s not wallowing in self pity The ML is rather nice too (too bad is an emperor - again, that’s rather overwhelming as a position and underwhelming as romance material) What’s disappointing is the surrounding plot, with a not so subtle villain We’d love to read what the girl with a destitute granny memory can bring to change the world , let hope there’s more of that than any ridiculous snarky revenge plot

71 - isekai culture shock, the MC is a bit naive but she has a great personality, she’s super dynamic with a good heart and lots of spunk It’s entertaining and fast pace , there also seems to be a plot (or more than « one ») There’s a great balance of action, fun, and a few mystery to unravel And now comes the revenge ! (Should be fast hopefully !) It’s a light but great entertainment so far Yet, i find it dreadful that the vilain iS such a miserable victim himself : if there’s no road to redemption for him, why show his as a victim of child abuse ? Why making him so pitiful ? Either you get him out of his misery, or you show him as truly despicable character - this is really hard to go with :/

78 - 4.5 - i have no care and no understanding of the super weird stan thing But i like the MC,(except for the super weird useless gimmick of the fan) , i love. The dad and son and can’t help towish for their long lasting happiness The magical power and reincarnation are becoming - interesting - but how crazy and dark : seriously why ? The child abuse arc is evil, but it said a few interesting things, at least it’s not gratuitous background

65 disappointing ? From 4 to 2 Alright, it’s cute, but lengthy and very samish as many, while it nicely had a different vibe at first The mc is super OP in the sense that she is given everything, but she wants nothing (#tull she takes much) of that nothing else she doesn’t want) The lazy. I don’t care thing is redundant and gets tiresome fast The pace is always off and it feels like a barbie show or something I don’t know why she dresses like it’s a fashion show and collect jewelry when she supposedly doesn’t care So yes, she’s all pretty and every body likes her (with few exceptions) she doesn’t even need to try everything seems to find a solution by magic The demon is her dog (in more than a way) and there you are again feeling like it is a p’e chzracter show , everyone is an accessory, starting with ken (i think her maid even tells her that much but it could be a different title) In the end, it feels like it lack interaction, flesh out characters, emotions and change , any of that would do But there’s just the happy go lucky feeling of a writers stuffing way to many toys on her only character Christmas tree Disapointing, yeah Well now, there seems to be a bit of a plot starting , so maybe it’s going to get a bit better That is if she’s not just following the strain with a hord of followers besides her At least she’s not followed by fishes and there’s only one guy / dog ( yes it’s disturbing) 11 - fun so far ! The devil is super cute and she is smart and refreshing :) (I even have hope for a plot !!)
