What Happens When the Second Male Lead Goes on Strike
69 - now that does start nicely. For once our hero is a male and he didn’t read the book ! He has very little clues about anything, including himself and he has a descent mindset : how rare to see a transmigrant bothered by the work conditions of his surroundings, carring for underage and elderly workers, treating everyone with the same respect. - how refreshing ! On the slow side
Master and Her Seven Lovers
94 - 4,5 : Very interesting so far ! Don’t be repelled by the harem teaser, it’s a world hopping thriller with very little romance so far (if at all !) It’s a world hopping storie (real word, game words, fake real wolrd(s?)) , As you could expect from this type of scenario there are many plots at different levels, the ones from short storylines (about 30/40+ c ?) and a red thread tying it all up There’s a good balance of game, and investigations, the stories are brilliantly intertwined and some clues make sense for the reader, while others leave us with more questions (just like the MC btw) : in that way, we are kept entertained (pieceing up what makes sense), yet not knowing enough to get bored The MC is a fun independent woman, nicely free spirited, with good values and a strong mindset, she has a few bearable flaws that never breached the caricature level so far (how nice !) There are many male characters, but it never feels like a harem - the game stories only have one target at a time, the romance thing is very second : she is on a mission to save her brother ( and probably many others) The chapters are dense and it’s highly entertaining Of course this is typically the type of scenario that could collapse on a bad or with a poor ending, but it’s also true that the sub scenario in each instance will keep their worth :) It’s nice to read a Chinese story whith respect for the female protagonist, without the irking tendencies of selfish / op / vilainess etc extremes
I Stole the Number One Ranker’s Soul
67 - 4.5 - excellent variation of the dungeon thing, despite regular pacing (getting better) flaws (probably the same old lack of trimming in webtoon at first (also getting pretty good) the over all is good, but there could have been more tension in many places (there are still lots of « slice of life-ish moment, it’s hard to imagine you’d make an action movie with so many scenes sitting around a dinning table or doing nothing. The added plot elements compensate a bit as the story progresses ), it’s very nice, but weaker than it could be - truly sad to miss being one of the best by little around ( I’m nitpicking the MC is an unusual weak girl, with a ghostly sidekick. She’s a well balance character as she can use her brain. She has an OP skill, nut she’s not OP herself so far. Combats against bosses are lacking in epic and dramatic vibe but it’s not what it is about It.s nicely growing in deeper , both with the addition of a powerful corporate plot to take over dungeons control, and the dungeon reality being quite a bit richer than the usual fight and conquer device The character’s dynamic are pleasant (good girl friends and family, interesting ghost, some nice encounter - the vilains are disgusting but the big bad plans are not idiotic at least… It’s certainly entertaining with a good dose of humor and an ever growing bit of plot I‘m never fond of king , queen or pyramids of power, but the MC does have good leadership qualities

On Her 94th Reincarnation, This Villainess Became the Heroine!
11.2 - actors from different guild play the part of novels Outside a very bad script meaningful encounters Not great but nice The bad heroine archetype is highly criticized, making the villainess a better pick, which is kind of ridiculous, as all of these pompous archetypes suffer from the same lack of depth, from absolutely self centered characters
