There is something so wonderful about an omega that is so strong and powerfully built, who could easily dominate his partner, relish being taken by the man he cares for. I thought Guts had a sweet vulnerability that was shown with Griffith that was all the more precious to retain following the actions of his scum father and rapist. It’s amazing that kindness within Guts survived despite the horrific assault he was put through and the revenge he took.

Oh wow! I wasn’t expecting that lol. Lactophilia, a bit of exhibitionism and group sex (no partner swapping)! I thought it was a sweet baby story but those moms weren’t messing around. It was hot and unexpected and funny.

I enjoyed this romantic Omegaverse story that was a bit of a paradox. Fate has a way to work that’s not always predictable. Associate professor Tomoya Kurosaki (alpha) was a brilliantly gifted researcher seeking a test subject. Natsuki Takimoto (beta) was the lonely and poor University student in dire need of finances who accepted the job. All he had to do was take a pill… This pill changed him in amazing ways, reshaping him into someone who responded to his professor and felt hot and flushed. Someone whose sweet scent called to be possessed by the genius with the alpha eyes. Someone wholly irresistible to Professor Tomoya. I love the paradox in this story when we discover the reasons that drew the professor to start this highly controversial research. Like fate presented him with a sampler of the one man fated to be his, but he had to bring him out. I loved the scruffy, unkempt professor before he found his FM and how he cleaned up after with the short hair and clean face. Contrastingly Natsuki relaxed into long hair looking more like the professors first love.

Sweet, gentle family and a summer vacation.

It’s very cute. Sadly I didn’t read the one that came before this, but you get enough idea to make this still worth reading.

This story is surprisingly sad. A dissociative identity disorder only arises from severe trauma, usually when you are young. I know he was being raped at school but his protector seemed well established and he had multiple episodes of memory loss. Just how many times had the poor guy been abused? And those guys were heroes in training who we saw rape him. Insta fail for them…

The lovely everyday moments with a baby and a partner with a cold

Such an interesting spin on Omegaverse. Alpha are the next step in human evolution but they are feared and often resented by the wider public. Miyuki has just found out he is an alpha of significant power and the pheromones he releases compel others to do his will. When Sawamura is pitching his desire to please his battery is so consuming he is morphed into an omega. Literally shaped to bear the progeny of an alpha. Miyuki is overwhelmed and distressed by the changes in his life, but as he grew to understand what it is to be alpha and omega, he embraced his friend and the two willingly bonded. It was beautifully intense, how much the two revolved around each other once they took that step. To an outsider it may seem strange, but I found that alpha/ omega dynamic like perfect chemistry.

Pt 4: As always these little snippets into Yuuri and Viktor’s family are wholesome and adorable. It would be so nice to have them in one manga.
