Trigger warning: rape (not the lover). This was a different story set in the Omegaverse. One where the omega (Kei) is bitten and marked by a self absorbed and self important alpha (Ekihito) but he chooses to not stay with the alpha, but rather his childhood best friend Tsugitsugu (beta). It’s sad because Kei was a naive romantic who wanted to be swept off his feet by a kind, gentle, rich and handsome alpha. Ekihito was rich and handsome, but he also had a colossal ego and he only wanted to mark and bind enough omegas as mates that could breed him over 100 offspring. When he forced himself on Kei during a heat, the poor omega was already at his lowest point, having driven his friend from his side. The rape was heartbreaking and the bite life changing because now his body would reject all others. The silver lining on the stormy cloud of this story was the determination of Kei and Tsugitsugu to be together as a loving couple despite everything. It was really sweet that they got a HEA

Trigger Warning: Violent rape of a child This was a dark and twisted Omegaverse where alpha are ruled by their instincts and in this case a young Eren (omega) suffered under their hands. For alpha Levi (who distrusted omegas) and Eren (who wanted to kill all alphas) there should have been no common ground. But through the darkest times these two formed bonds of trust and love that may just be stronger than their very natures. A great story (not for the faint of heart) with a controlled alpha and the omega who loves him

An odd spot to end for a completed book. It’s off to a good start but I suggest waiting to read because it’s not a good ending yet.

Such an interesting start but incomplete

Trigger warning: Rape The son of 2 doctors, Shusei attends an all alpha boys school and is expected to excel. However, he always comes second to Jin who seems to effortlessly outperform him in all aspects. When Jin finds out that Shusei is actually an omega he blackmails him with sex for his silence. A bit of a losers action rather than the winner Jin is meant to be, but it turns out he has been drawn to the taciturn Shusei since he first set eyes upon him and refused to let an opportunity pass. The rest of the story follows the ups and downs of their relationship as it slowly strengthens. There is nothing I found that really sets the story apart (which IMO is really needed for love following rape to make sense) but it was still an interesting Omegaverse and it was nice to see an omega who was strong willed.

A rare find; female alpha (Minju) x female omega (Hayoon) full colour story. The number of Yuri I have read could be counted on one hand (including this) but I couldn’t resist an Omegaverse tale. This didnt disappoint either. Minju has loved Hayoon since she first saw her as a child. But in this world where omegas have little value and where a recessive omega orphan like Hayoon has even less to offer with her dubious breeding chances, insecurity has her keeping Minju at an emotional arms length. I loved Minju’s emotional strength and determined love for her best friend and felt a little sorry for her at times as Hayoon didn’t share what bothered her. Despite that angst, the story was beautiful to read with some lovely art. I would happily read more Yuri if I can find others like this.

The perfect switch relationship; omega x omega. These 2 friends thought they couldn’t be more than friends when they realised they were both omegas, but it seems like you can make it work if you care enough for each other.

Leo Asaka is an alpha and second generation actor. Serious and determined to be successful on his own merits, Leo couldn’t be more opposite his new co star in an upcoming film, Eito Yanagi. Eito is another alpha second generation actor; son to a famous modeling mother. However, he is more wild and carefree than Leo and the two seem like they are fated to clash. Things aren’t as they always appear at first meeting though. Eito’s brilliant acting skills have Leo reassessing his first impression, and when the director sends the two off to get to know each other better their relationship goes from professional to intimate. I loved some of the moments of intense connection between Leo and Eito. Well written Omegaverse stories are great at giving that touch of desperation and yearning that can only come with fated pairs. I also appreciated their loyalty to each other and the way they stood beside each other even when events were against them. Overall, a recommended read.

Trigger warning: Rape An Omegaverse story with an entitled alpha, Amamiya Ujou and an abandoned omega, Yohira. The alpha in this story starts out as seriously unlikeable. He rapes the child omega (not sure of his age but he looks like a kid and apparently hasn’t passed through puberty) and treats him like an object/ part of his right to own property. But over time Yohira sneaks into his heart though it will take something drastic for Ujou to face that reality. His character growth is huge and the story has a nice HEA.
