Aren't open relationships like cheating with extra steps?

Not talking about polygamy. But people who ask for open relationships, aren't they basically just asking for permission to cheat? Or like do open relationships even work even where both of them come up with it together? Someone please explain, because I cannot comprehend the thought process of people in those relationships.

i would personnaly not be in an open relationship but i understand why some people dont see it as cheating for them the most important thing is the feelings you have for the other, and it's not important that they want to share their body with smn else if they only feel love for you it's like the emotional love is stronger than the physical love th...... reply
