My native languange is Visayan a dialect of Filipino. I am learning English at school and Japanese by watching anime and doing some research in internet. In the near future in God's will I want to learn Korean, Chinese and Spanish. 1 reply

In school I've also learnt French, but I think I've forgotten most of it by now, sadly.

Because I live in a touristic caribbean island I was raised speaking 4 languages:
Papiamentu (local language)
Spanish (My mother is latin and the local tv station airs lots of novelas)
Dutch (mandatory in school. Everything's in Dutch)
English (local tv stations airs american cartoons/ movies and most tourists communicate in English)

My two native languages Finnish and Swedish. I used to study Spanish but I have already forgotten pretty much everything. Some really basic phrases in Japanese (only spoken). And English apparently.

I'm learning Basic N1 for Nihongo, and it's easy (for now); just simple greetings and manners. This is required since I'm attending my cousin's previous highschool which is foreign-friendly, but they need students to adjust there and speak Japanese with others. >. 2 reply
I dont think its that weird, 6 months and im on the same boat as you are right now. Since no one knows me personally in reality here, i'd say, its kinda my fault because im not socially active, im afraid of crowds/people/society, i have a high defense mechanism against anyone trying to get close to me lol but then im weirdly loyal, what imean...... reply

I people watch like crazy. Honestly, I think most people do to some extent. Natural human curiosity! I mean, as long as you're not ogling or staring them there's no harm. People are interesting. It doesn't matter how old, boy, girl, good-looking, super-ugly- everyone has their own story and experiences that color their every decision, movement...... reply
I am a people watcher! I would sit some where in a cafe and just observe people as I take a break from studying.
Girl watching; I live in a very rich area, so all the girls have their contours done, eye brows drawn, highlights flashing with huge fake lashes, and now and then I see some with fake lips...most of them look like the Arab Kardashians....... reply

Definitely freedom and less stress!
