I tried to deal with the names and surnames not matching, the overall ambiance not matching a western country, and even the scene when Gabrielle was bullied as a kid for his name ( Holy fuck you ALL have western names so why ?! for the aaaargghhh well okay, alright) so yea, none of this makes sense.
But the BROTHER thing??? In which country exactly?! The hyung thing we got it, we all read manwha and a simple note makes the concept clear but that's too much.
I don't know how you anglophones call this but in french, it's called "la valee de l etrange" when something you see doesn't match what you hear/ feel/ read/ experience to the point of making you uncomfortable.

I Don't know if you notice but despit the names the whole storyboards place in korea, and hyung literally translates as brother, they probably just translated everything literally as it wasn't the official translation
Yea i did notice and that's what makes it fucked up. It is an official translation though. These editors just think we're too stupid to deAl with foreign names but like i said, this sloppy and incoherent translation ruins the whole story and makes things absolutely weird
Didnt expect it but i got suck into the story like in a black hole, it was surprisingly interesting and enticing, and somehow I'm not bothered by the whole happy ending shit since i didnt see it coming.
It was hilarious ans a good read.

It's probably because of the time that they have to give in screen shotting and cropping every pages of the story. Screenshot and cropping may be an easy job but it's pretty time consuming^_^

Oh I absolutely agree about the effort made but not with your example.
the "thief uploader" (wtf seriously) did the same and nothing actually belongs to any uploader. It is nobody's job and thus, just anybody can do it.
If it's so annoying that you'd go mad because somebody did it faster than you, just don't do it, there's no obligations here.
I was already taken aback with the credit pages and the uploaders' names written bigger than the authors', but claiming the ownership of an illegal upload is just too much.
Somehow it feels more and more like "mangago, the news Instagram, Go famous" lol.
Makes me laugh quite hard when sometimes in the updates notifications, we get instead of a chapter an uploader saying "omg, the author contacted me and asked to stop uploading and to take down what I already uploaded".
Nah honestly, all this doesn't make sense.
As for taking down a chapter already updated just to put your own, that's just as dumb and disrespectful as illogical.

But just to let you know, there's no such a thing as "pro scanlation group". Scanlation is an amateur thing, the pros are called translators, they're paid by the editors and their name is at best written small on the last page of a book.
There's never been and will never be in the world a pro translator that will allow themselves a whole credit page lol.

Oh I respect them and thank them with all my heart, but it would be disrespectful towards the real translators and especially the author, whose name is written smaller than the scanlation team members'; to call them pros.
