Her trauma is not her student's responsibility. She's judging someone without even knowing them. She has no right to tell her student to quit school just because she's dating someone from that school.
The incident happened 10 years ago, and she's harboring hatred for these students who have no idea of what happened. She's poisoning her student to believe that these students from that school are the same ones from 10 years ago.
I'm not trying to invalidate her feelings. Still, really, it is not the students' responsibility or the students from that school to shoulder the guilt or responsibility of what happened years ago.
