I came in here considering how sad it was that she realized she was a bad parent and was very excited to see how she was going to remedy that and prove herself to be a better mother. I’m really happy about the in depth look of postpartum depression, then full on depression, and even before that - issues on identity and the psychological torment women around that time felt. I haven’t seen an isekai go in depth on that and I’m really happy that they did. The MC isn’t 100% perfect - she has flaws just like every other human being and seeing her grow as a character is smth I’m very much looking forward to. We Stan characterization that isn’t one note!

I feel that too at the beginning i disliked the FL i thought she was selfish and deserved everything that happened to her. But as i read more i realized that out FL is tragic and tried to manage the best she could with her circumstances and trying to deal with her mental health. I now sympathize with the FL and hope she can mend her relationships i know that not all marriages are perfect and I'm glad she's taking the time to see her mistakes and is trying to ask for forgiveness for her mistakes. I hope she can find future happiness for herself, her husband and her son.

Is it just me or does this skirt to close to grooming and pedophilia? Idk the fact that the emperor is portrayed anywhere NEAR a romantic option for our main gal makes me...
I get that they want to make him the redeemable villain but,,, dude why did u make her the “”queen”” specifically??? U could’ve just taken her in/adopted her as a princess against her family’s will and it would’ve been fine - she could’ve even become “queen” in name when she was older - instead they made her a “queen” and he actively refers to her (13) as “my queen” (in reference to when he comes to pick her up. Also his dynamic with her seems very “enemies to lovers” esc and I’m really glad it’s not endgame, but the romanization (I mean when the author ACTIVELY MAKES HIM REDEEMABLE AND LIKABLE) makes me feel... very off.
Also ik she’s mentally really old but when she was taken and to be groomed, she’s literally 13, that’s still a child m8.
The story itself is a cute idea and despite being fast paced, I can deal with it cuz the plot is decently built, the characterization of the MC is kinda annoying (20 YO child?) but once again, doable - the closeness to pedophilia on the other hand?? I can’t handle

I can’t recommend this story enough. I first thought this was an adorable slice of life comedy of a found family trope - but it was so much more than that. This is nothing less than a masterpiece. From the art to the story, both are masterfully done. The art style is used to emphasize major emotional points of the story, and progressively becomes more and more painting esc the more the plot unfurls. The story itself begins Slice of life and atypical of the isekai genre, but quickly becomes more than that, throwing the reader from a comedy, to a drama, to a tragedy when exploring the past and other characters in epilogues. Pleaseeee read it when you can. ╥﹏╥

Ok so I’ve got a few words to say to this manwha. Its very pretty and if u like it, that’s completely valid - it’s an interesting read if u ignore these issues. Please don’t get offended - my critics are not a personal attack.
Okie dokes let’s get crackin
Firstly. The characterization is trash - the motivations are all over the place (especially for the princess, smtimes I wonder if she’s really on the prince’s side cuz she seems like she really wants to usurp his power), the personalities are very basic and tropey (nothing wrong with cliches and tropes but it’s very boring unless there’s some sort of expectation subversion), and overall everyone but the princess feels stupid which ruins the suspension of disbelief for me - the prince is irrational a no way smart like the OG story claims, every “villain” is incredibly basic and shallow (for the silver haired duke, he just appeared so I can’t be certain abt him). Specifically looking at the princess: there was no buildup to the reincarnated person’s character/personality. She’s an office worker, there should be no reason why she’s so cunning especially if she was just used in the past. Now, I’m not saying the office environment there is cutthroat and she MIGHTVE been able to gain some for thought in TERMS of this office environment, but no where NEAR where she stands now. It’s nothing less than illogical and if it was built up better it wouldn’t be so jarring from the early chapter exposition. Something that also bothers me: she constantly refers to herself as if she never reincarnated into a NEW body but rather traveled back in time. There’s no “identity finding”, she just assumes the princess’s identity and starts being cunning. And like I mentioned earlier it was something that came out of nowhere - we barely know anything abt the Reincarnated’s background but like I mentioned it’s illogical for her considering what we know. She also has the trauma and anxiety the princess has later on in her life: the reincarnation shouldn’t be so reactive to the stalker/future abuser. U can pin it on saying shes scared of the future possibilities, but she’s literally experiencing PTSD as if she’s lived through the abuse herself (yet another point in time where they should’ve made her travel back in time). The placement of the PTSD also makes me make me raise an eyebrow - it’s very convenient for the plot and the ““”relationship””” with Raphael to grow and I doubt it’ll be properly explored in any other way ( I could say the same thing for her being “introspective”, IE when she points out her brother is just a sad lonely kid, knows what Vera wants, what the king wants, etc.) The other characters are very basic - Raphael should be more on guard with this girl who’s been abusing her power and harassing him/others for MONTHS IF NOT YEARS, but instead he’s immediately enamored with her when she switches up her act(Stockholm syndrome lOL). Rezel is p decently done, but he’s not 100% there. There are times where the story mentions things in the OG princess’s past/memories that appear out of nowhere?? The prince and the princess were once very close and after two nice things, he considers her his light??? Lmfao?? Are we gonna pretend he didn’t want to use her and sell her off?? Also are we not gonna delve into the fact he poisoned her?? WOULDNT he feel a teensy bit bad abt it considering she’s so important to him now?? The emperor should be harder to please since he hates both his children - even if there’s change, he’d be more strict rather than ditsy and instantly believing that she’s a changed person. Dialogue itself is cringy at times but it’s passable (my question is: why tf r all the characters stating the most obvious shit? Like everything is repeated when it could be concluded from simply looking at their actions - kind of a spit on the audience’s intelligence :/). The plot itself feels kinda half assed, there is practically no foreshadowing (no clear foreshadowing at least it’s always very vague, as if the author thought they could get away with bsing it), and again, the shitty characterization is really.... annoying. The princess knows shit that no one else knows and u could pass it off as saying it was probably mentioned in the story but there are tons of times where she doesn’t even refer to her new life as “from a different plot” - if there was foreshadowing to her actions, it’d be understandable but everything she does is explained AFTER she does her “cunning” thing. That’s just bad story structure and writing.
That’s my spiel, I read this all in one go, excited by the rating, but it’s just really shitty. Doesn’t deserve the 9.6 (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

for the middle part; it's because she herself, got all of the memories of the princess and I think she kind of 'lived through the real novel' and experienced it, so maybe that's why, and other than that, you were completely right (for the first part), the way they moved so quick; getting PTSD from just a glance from the one who abused "her". other than that the art is totally amazing and I kinda do understand where the crown prince is coming from, because she changed and so, when she changed the way she behaved around him he changed the way he behaved around her. And so, I do think this low-key deserves the rating but some part of me also thinks you're completely right

God I really loved how this started out but the main character being so obsessively scared about the dad is starting to get on my nerves. It makes sense, but they’re literally one convo away from an understanding. I wish Max told her straight up: he’d only brag about u. And have a convo abt it /: they’re skirted past the actual topic so many times and the hoops the main character has to go through is actually insane. You can excuse it for paranoia but he literally said “ENDURE IT” the last thing Max said to her was “NO”. If she had reincarnated, it’d make sense for her to be scared, but as a reader??? Surely she scrolled through some theories :/

I could definitely blame her because the story basically shows her being a bit open and flustered. If she even bothered talking to the father she’d actually see his affection for him. But no?? She just doesn’t talk at all. Sure if you’re scared you might not, but with her personality, assuming things doesn’t fit her character - especially since she’s all open to max when he’s her father’s disciple. Shouldn’t she be scared of him too?
Hey y’all, so I’ve seen a bunch of posts being really uncomfortable abt the professor relationship thing and I totally agree with y’all that there’s an important power difference at play here, however I also wanted to clear up a few things about Asian professors - generally, they’re a LOT younger than you’d expect them to be: yes there are the older ones who have the same situation as the professors in the USA (or other countries), but there are also a shit ton of professors that are only a few years older than their students. My parents was in a somewhat teacher student relationship and they’re 6 years apart (my dad was my mom’s homeroom b class physics teacher and he was an assistant professor technically (kinda like a head teacher and other teachers in a subject sorta thing) but he was still a professor). So there’s not a MASSIVE age gap where it’s to the point of it being grooming and the professor being a predator, but it’s not exactly orthodox either: people are still abound to rumors like “ur sleeping with ur teacher for the grades” and there’s obviously the power dynamic. I hope I cleared things up a little bit! Tho Min’s relationship with her professor is in no way professional and is kinda toxic, they’re not exactly like a 40 year old professor thirsting after their 18 year old student
yeah i'm 21 and i have a college professors who are not even in their 30's yet. not really that old
Yeah I’m 23 and I’m a professor lol
