I think it is rape, this is just my opinion but if you try to look at what Seo-an said and viewed it as a seme/top saying it, it becomes a different story. Like "I'm not listening to you today" means I'm not gonna stop, same as "your body is more honest than what you say".

Its actually a type of genre in chinese novels some gets adapted and becomes a manhua, where the main focus is the world hopping from world to world, also known as "Quick Transmigration." If you try searching up some novel of this genre they sometimes contain QT in the title an abbreviation of the word "quick transmigration."
In this type of genre you would normally see many types of genre every arc such as (horror, post apocalyptic, romance, school, abo, cultivation, and etc.) This type of genre usually either contains romance where they romance the male lead or anti romance in the plot where they break the hearts of the male lead for having trash personality.
I usually think of each arc as separate/different stories compiled in one novel so I don't get bored (especially when QT novels are thousands of chapters long).

Can you explain how? I still haven't continued it, last time I remember was that he went to disguise himself to solve something. All I know is he's humble, very calm.
I dropped it at ch 14, his character is just not attractive to me at this point. He takes all insults and every abusive thing thrown at him, he doesn’t fight nor does he plan to in fact he even thinks they do it for his own good. He already lived his life as an old man he should know their already since he retreated to a forest because he couldn’t handle the betrayals, yet why does he act like is 12 years old and has no clue about human malevolence?
It would be better if his character was kind yet unyielding and doesn’t take any crap thrown at him. Or yet don’t even give him the background of a wise man(because he sure isn’t) so there would be a very obvious reason why a pre teen is that innocent and we could see more growth this way.
Lol you should have waited more to drop it because his character is the opposite of what you've described. There's lots of character development too. You've read him totally wrong. His actions and thoughts make sense because he's amazingly pure of heart, that's why the spirit kings chose him as their contractor. And he's got the wisdom and patience of a whole lifetime, that's why he doesn't get angry at petty things or think about things like revenge.

Novel readers please give me some brief or short explanation of the remaining(or not) chapters after chapter 98, I wanted to know what happened next. I'm happy that they got a happy ending but not happy because I feel like the case was not solved. It even got into the exciting part. I don't want to read the novel because I know I'm going to read back to the very beginning and I don't want to be confused of the story again.

Maybe Because he's supposed to be the villain .... in NORMAL novel the villain always opposed protagonist and in OUR novel/manhua/manhwa/manga , the villain ALWAYS ended up with the protagonist.
