If the story wasn't going to get as bad as I know it will, at worst, this story would be annoying and juvenile. But knowing that it will get a much more sinister tone makes me feel weird reading it. 99% of the time, I drop a story that I hate and never look back but sometimes , I find myself hate reading for no apparent reason.

The worst thing that will happen is that after all this cutesy shit, ML will use the fact that her uncle made a mistake and was thrown in jail to threaten her to become his mistress. Every sex scenes was basically coerced and felt like rape (because technically it was since she was doing it under duress and not out of her own free will)

i am hate reading this for a very parent reason that I love vanji's art so much. Been hooked on her style since winterwoods and am happy to see how far her art has improved. but man this story is so below her...like a total waste of art. my only solace is that she probably is making good money off of it because this shit seems popular in there. maybe if she is not pressed by money her next work would be sth as amazing as her previous two. all the best to her...not so much to the author.

The sex scenes are really well drawn but I keep thinking about how, from what we've seen so far including the shady figure who talked to MC about blinking a cake to sir Mugo and all that, MC was molded to entrap sir Mugo. He was groomed to survive him first and then to please him....for what reason? Also, poor thing, he is just used for some big plot and he is so oblivious about it
Either some of the comedy is lost in the new version or I'm biased because I read the old version many years ago and I'm doing that old person thing "this isn't as good as the original" lol
Overall, the art is great, the plot remained the same, the scenes are almost identical panel per panel, and I would highly recommend that everyone reads this
Omg I feel the same way, the actually panels and text is pretty much identical, but somehow the new version doesn’t feel as funny it’s still great but something about the old version’s art or composition made it funnier

Some comedy/story only work on first read and lost lotof its charm on 2nd. Thats why alot of people want to erased their memory so they could enjoy the read like the first read over and over.

stories like this remind me of why a lot of fanfics exist: good premise, good characters, good plot....initially, but shit development halfway through and shit ending. So, fans just like to imagine what if this didn't go to absolute shit
The story is frustrating at times but does the angst part well. I'm very dissatisfied with the ending though. It felt too rushed for that build up of misunderstandings and hurt. Most readers endure angst for the cathartic release that comes after. This story just builds up to nothing
As far as I know, it's not finished yet. There will be a third season. At least the novel reveals more details after the end of season 2.

So, MC's mom isn't his bio mom but I assume that the dad is his bio dad despite being an abusive piece of shit. I wonder what's the story there. Did the father bring a child froma random woman and tell his wife "in the public eye, he will be our child" or did the wife switch the kids knowing that her own child isn't the husband's and get a child from a mistress....I assume it's the former because if it is the latter, that is one hell of dumbass father and one hell of a dumbass "mother" for being seen in public with her actual child more than her supposed child (MC)

This might truly be one of the most abusive MLs I've ever seen. I've seen so many stories that contain violent rape scenes but never have I ever seen an ML that breaks MC to this extent where he truly is losing his mind. What makes me sick the most is the fact that MC bends to ML's every whim and does everything to appease him but the abuse only gets worse.

There is something about it that bothers me the most. I've read over 7000 manga of all genres and sometimes, stories stand out to me for a reason that might not be obvious to someone else. To me, there is something so sinister about a guy whose abuse just increases regardless of the reaction they get. Not that abusers are reasonable to begin with but they sometimes can be appeased by apparent obedience...
