I’ve read some comments of people saying the end was rushed or lacking, but I think it ended well enough. Some people have mentioned they would have liked more development or insight into the mother character, but I think her confession to Mizuki is enough to understand what kind of person she is and unfortunately I don’t think Mizuki can cut off ties with that toxic relationship (his mother). She came off as pathetic, but deep down I feel she’s manipulative. By admitting her pathetic-ness, she’s essentially blackmailing her son into remaining by her side because she doesn’t know how to be alone. It’s sad, but there is a glimmer of hope that Mizuki will one day be able to wean off his mother. And regardless of what we think as readers, as a character, in Mizuki’s mind, everything that happened between him and Shinobu-san was consensual from the beginning (he said so himself) so he has his relationship with him to help him del with his desperate mother.
Even though they are not officially “dating” since Hajin turned him down even before Hangyum could finish asking, though.
I thought it was kinda cute that he’s like “we usually spend all day together, now that we’re apart I’m curious to know how he’s doing?”
Hajin you’re falling hard for the guy who’s been waiting for you since high school (and who’s keeping that a secret for whatever reason).
Maybe Jaehee suddenly reappearing in Hajin’s life will propel Hangyum to reveal he is the same Hangyum from high school and they can *actually* start dating.
I agree. I hope they start dating soon! Hajin has been falling in love and it is oblivious he love him in the past like Hangyum did/does. Not sure about your last paragraph, that is a possibility. Can I give you a non spoiler spoiler? If that is what you call it? Well maybe a broad spoiler. Gah! I am actually going to say what happens. So a sneak preview?
In chapter 27, Hangyum will do something sweet. Kind of like Hajin is acting like a boyfriend in this, Hangyum will act like a boyfriend in the next. Not saying what but it is in my summaries. Hhehehe
Aww...this is my favorite type of romance...Hangyum is going about things all wrong, but I don’t think he’ll ever purposely hurt Hajin.
As for what I meant with my last paragraph, I was just thinking that when Hangyum discovers that Jaehee is the ex, he might feel threatened and finally get the courage to actually confess to Hajin instead of going around in circles.
I am sorry. I was not clear. I am trying to not say too much for people that don't want spoilers since I have seen up to chapter 33 and read some of it.
I did understand you. You were clear.
I meant I don't know if that will happen or not but it could be a possibility when Hangyum learns they were boyfriends in the past.
sorry for the little spoiler...>> (that they same position as they are now, in chapter 33)......>>>
So, this series has been completed at 126 chapters. The Spanish version of Too Close is up to chapter 120.
The author/artist has started a new series. It’s called “Can't say no to him”.
It’s being translated in Spanish, two chapters and a prologue are currently out in Spanish.

As I was reading this I had this deja vu feeling like it looked familiar...lo and behold, I was right. I just had forgotten id read this already.
It was a nice story...I liked how the two leads fell out of love with their unrequited loves and fell in love with each other and didn’t even realize it.
No unnecessary drama.
I hope it doesn’t get axed. Spidey is my favorite superhero, and I really enjoyed this manga. The art is nice and Yu is a fun Spider-Man.
My only complaint is Silk, I was not a fan of her character when I saw her in Spider-verse (the comic, not the movie), and it doesn’t look like she’s been changed much...anyway...other than Silk, I enjoyed this manga.

And I’m reading what Arima really meant, but his words were very suggestive. Of course in a normal circumstance (not a yaoi plot) the other party would have either politely decline the invite (assuming he’s not interested) or asked for clarification.
