Anyone else think this story seems like it's a sequel? The prince has such vast knowledge of the outside world, he's also stronger than the previously strongest person on the continent. So where did he get that knowledge from? And how did he get this strong? By just being talented? I doubt that would even be possible. Especially the knowledge of the outside world.
Feels like a ton of important stuff happened before the start of this manga, yet we've seen nothing of it for some reason.
The premise is interesting, and so far it has promise. Sadly, a lot of manga of this nature have promise in the first 2~3 chapters, but then turn into cliché, run-off-the-mill stories I've already read dozens of times. And with boring characters.
So far the characters seem more interesting than one of those cliché stories. Here's to hoping the story will also "keep it's promise".
Feels like Jill's "almost losing control" was pretty forced. Sure it can be a bit upsetting to hear someone say the one you consider your mother can't be your mother, but to get THAT upset about it? Heck, Cardinal didn't even get time to reply after Lily explained that they aren't related by blood. Maybe he was thinking "Oh, that makes sense then." After hearing she was adopted.
The manga is already good. I hope the mangaka doesn't rely on forced drama like this too much, as it doesn't need it imo.
Yea that too. I've noticed this in too many manga for my liking. Where a very serious looking conflict or some drama is very quickly resolved with some small thing that shouldn't resolve it. And then both parties are suddenly all like "Oh I tried to kill you by mistake! No no, I'm sorry for making you make the mistake in the first place. (or something?)" Like some quick words of apology suddenly make attempted murder all right. As if the mangaka don't know how actual human interaction works... =/
I mean, I get that being polite and apologizing is kinda part of Japanese culture, but in manga it's usually way too quick and way too apologetic for my liking.
This. So much. Like super evil guy is suddenly apologetic and the heroes are like "oh, ok u didn't do it on purpose, u just had rough childhood" and then theres happy ending.
But even more so, i understand if the mangakas want to include some kind of event that shows something particular, ie here it was shown how lily didn't really care about the bad guy but only about the child. But if u cant make it work naturally, i wouldn't use the scene at all.
I really liked this manga, since i like reincarnation theme and even more so if its not just basic "oh im op with this magic and knowledge i have suddenly since i died". And it's really different from basic love stories too, i just hope this kind of thing won't continue.
"Hello, I'm a truck driver. I kill people for a living, because gods from other worlds tell me to do so." I get the feeling this is supposed to be a comedy of sorts considering the art style, casual nature of the story, and such. But this feels like it should have been a far darker manga. Feels way too mean spirited to be a comedy.
I keep on being amazed at how the author put reality into what used to be a world from a romance game. Because indeed, the protagonist of a lot of romance games would be seen as naive and a bad influence in real life. The fantasy that such games bring would cause political destruction. And this manga shows perfectly how an MC from a romance game would be if it was real life. And what the consequences would be after the game ended. And other such things.
I'm generally not for political stories, but this one is so good and interesting that I always get excited when a new chapter comes out. :D

1: The earl arrived immediately when he was betrayed. Just...how? Why is he there himself? It makes no sense.
2: The knight that tailed the mc clearly had no problems getting in there. Why didn't the earl just send out his own knights to find the book? They would have had a far easier time.
3: The earl FORCED the mc to do a quest way above his level. No player would actually deal with that. Also why didn't the earl just hire someone of higher level?
4: Level -1? Seriously? No RPG would do such a thing. Ever.
This game inside this manga is just so unrealistic. I feel like no player would want to play it when you get screwed over so easily in it. And there's just a lot of stupid premises the story relies on to even start so far. I don't know if this is worth reading or not as so far the story is pretty aggravating to me. Raises far too many "why?!" questions already.
games aren't meant to be realistic ;)
p.s. realistic games get boring fast, to me at least.
Same
What I meant was realistic for a game. Not realistic for real life. What I'm saying is the game is filled with a lot of bad game design, and the story uses a lot of contrivances that make NO sense to advance the plot.
the hero always needs a starting point. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
be it bad game design or some other bullshit that forces him to start from level 1 again
Most of your points can be answered with it simply being part of the game mechanics. I mean NPCs can be teleported whenever and wherever a trigger is performed. There are many instances in games where really they could have done it themselves but still mysteriously require players to do quests, so I can't say it's not "unrealistic" in games. Maybe the earl didn't know of the hidden cave the MC discovered? And maybe they couldn't risk their own soldiers, even if high-leveled, for some reason? I mean, using players to do your bidding is certainly a better alternative since they're "immortal".
Plus while there are level-restricted quests, there are also high-level quests that allows lower level players to participate, though usually they put warnings like recommended levels and such.
The final point, however, is indeed unique. So far, I haven't come across any manga/comics that featured a negative level (I think), but I wouldn't really call it illogical. Perhaps there are hidden game mechanics that only skilled players are meant to find. C'mon, you see it all the time in games -- cheats, easter eggs, or a totally secret element.
Plus, the fact that it's already raising questions may not really be a negative thing, at least for me anyways. It's meant to be answered later in the story since the story is still being set up, so I still recommend to continue reading (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I'm amazed you actually took the time to think about it.
Well beein a otaku obviously one would take the time to think things through! For Manga!!
